The question that pop up in my head is what kind of ball type they use.

Yes it strange if they use an Teflon ball.
But it would not be so strange if they use Nylon.

Sorry bud. Here, they use a plastic nylon material but like I said, I hardly ever see a ball change.  Ken

Well with nylon there is no need for ball change.

You can have a very slow rotation of the number ring and the nylon ball will bounce forward and backwards like crazy jumps and the same with faster speeds.
That is how i understand it.
