Better Bet

Are all bets the same or are some bets better than others.

What I have in mind is the 2 dozen or column bet.


Which is better:

Playing 2 columns ( playing 2 dozens )

or

Playing 1 column with 1 dozen.


Both involve 2:1 returns,

2 cols. or dozs. = 24 number bet at 2:1

1 col. + 1 doz. = 20 number bet , (16 @ 2:1...4 @ 4:1 )


So which would you play and for what reason ?
