I have just stared to play the 50/50 progressive betting series.
Can you guys tell me what the longest streaks with the same even or same colour has come
up in a row.
For example yesterday I hit 12 red in a row which made my bankroll go to zero.
Should I really use a progressive system or is flat systems better and more relaxing to use?

I wondering about what is best to go with.

12 is nothing; it gets much much worse.

kav

In fact 12 times the same color is quite rare. But it's not the maximum. If you play quite often, after years you can even observe even 18 consecutive same EC outcomes.

Flat betting is nothing. It is no system. It doesn't offer any advantage.
Finding an advantageous way to play is no easy task and do not expect or believe easy answers. If you want to  become a good roulette player, you need to think, to study and to learn hard earned lessons. There is no free meal.

Some would say that if your system doesn't win flat-betting, it won't win with a progression.

kav

The opposite is true:
If it can't win with a progression, it is impossible to win just by flat betting.

iggiv

the last 2 statements are arguable. for example mr J with his is experience does not agree with that. maybe some systems have more hits say within 10 to 20 spins after.

it is hard to say for sure.

Give me any bet selection that wins with flat betting and I can make it win (more) with a progression. As simple as that.

I think if you look back in the archives,( not so long ago), 24 blacks were observed in DublinBet...very rare true...but as has been pointed out it does happen.

IN my shoeshineboymodel you wager on a row of 20 will not fall.Try and see.The download is free.
Every sample of 150 spins gives a profit of about 65 units

I certainly agree with this, but it doesn't mean the opposite is true.

schoenpoetser

If you will compare the two bets then you should objectively compare the profitpercentage of the total betting. The number of units isn`t objective!!

when you use flat betting then you need to win more then you lose.

so meaning it can lose, if you use progression you will win more but when you lose you loss much more.

i think a good system relies on both, you want more wins but not to the point of using a progression all the time.
i think using a combination of the two is far better with the right system.

Progression Bets :- It cannot overcome sleepers

Flat Bets :- It cannot overcome house edge

So tie... :girl_wacko:

darrynf

whats the mongose progression ?

@allen

im not sure if i agree with you allen, i think flat bets can overcome the house edge, my system takes away the house edge but it also uses some progression.

i guess you are right to a certain extinct but i use flat betting as well, i dont have to worry about sleepers though as it never happens, otherwise i would win often.

like i said before, a system should use both, progression should be used to gain back money and not all the time and bets shouldnt be made every spin, but then again its up to the player.
