A veteran BBC personality Terry Wogan said
that his fan club t-shirt has the inscription
"Do I come here often?"

Think I've just about reached that stage of
my life.

I think we are making tremendous progress in testing systems and proving if it's possible to have long term winning systems. I think the real excitement will come next year, when all the work we are putting in now will highlight those systems that continue to make a profit and as far as I am aware such an event has never happened on a gambling forum.

Would anyone like to see into the future and predict whether or not something spectacular will be the talking point this time next year.

It will be interesting to look back and see whose prediction was the most accurate.

Mr Chips

What do you think yourself Mr. Chips? With the 4selecta you quit impress me. I really don't know how the system works. But Sam's testing seems impressive.

For myself, I'm still working everyday to find that more winning than losing bet/formula  ;). As we are all doing that, maybe next year something great will happen. Maybe sooner, maybe later, maybe never. Time will tell.

JHM,

I can't really comment on the 4Selecta as that is for others to comment on. I do predict the traffic on this forum will substantially increase next year how is that for a prediction?

Mr Chips

Ehhh a logic explanation, due the fact that the internet is still growing every year [smiley=2/biggrinsmiley.gif]

At this point I'm not quite ready to pronounce the 4Selecta to be a long term winner.  (First we would have to define long term.)  I will say this, however.
I've tested a lot of systems.  Never has one made it as far as the 4Selecta and "my" Chicco/murph.  (Neither is "mine".  I just put them together.)  I never even tested Gamlet or the Lw system this long.

Over the number of spins I've tested, all being randomly collected, these two systems still produce profits.  In the number of spins I've checked, I think the wheel has pretty much done what it will do.

We'll see.  But come October, I will start again to bet real money on these two systems.  For those who believe me, there will be screen shots and movies; for those who don't, you probably never will.  Oh, if I lose you'll believe me!  Only if I win will I be suspect!

I love it!!

Ow yeah, I'll follow you Sam. You're going to win big! Have you already selected your prey (casino)?

Spike

when all the work we are putting in now will highlight those systems that continue to make a profit and as far as I am aware such an event has never happened on a gambling forum.>>>

Or in a casino either. You do realize, of course, that if you achieve this never before attained lofty goal, you will either cause the casino to take drastic measures to prevent you from winning or you will cause the game in question to be withdrawn from the casinos entirely.

My personal opinion is, the casinos aren't too worried about it. But who knows, maybe you're smarter than all the true math genius's throughout history who have tried and failed.

Spike

The casino's are of course only interested in maintaining their huge profits and will only react if something in particular that they can identify causes their profits to decline.>>>

Thats fine, but you're dealing with them on a one to one basis when you play. They are concerned about consistant winners and will take measures to stop them on a one to one basis. Its has nothing to do their profits or bottom line, they aren't worried about that. What they are worried about is people they see on a regular basis who take more money home with them than they leave in the table drop box..

Spike

That's why it's important to go to different casino's>>>

Thats not possible for many people. Also, because you made your world shaking system public, you will have hundreds and then thousands playing it for every dime they can every time they play.

Mr Chips

Spike is right...

Please stop telling people about your system.

You're going to ruin it for all of us.

Hi Spike,

The above quote interested me  :-\ Let's say for arguments sake I win 4 times in 4 visits to the same casino my progression is only a small one (let's say 1/2) I win 20% of my bankroll and always leave....

Again for arguments sake I'm betting 10/20, so therefore I'm about £2,160 up.....

I'm intrigued what measures could the casino take to stop me??

Of course all this is make believe  :-[ but I would like you to tell me what they would do......

Thanking you in advance for your reply....... ;)

Gee, Mr. Chips, you must be one lucky player.  Then, again, the entire country of England can easily fit in almost any one of the USA's states. Last  count we had something like 50 of them.  Only a few have class III casinos where table games are legal.

Not all of us have the luxury of having multiple casinos close by.

My closest casino cluster is a 9-hour drive one-way.

Spike

I take your "hundreds and thousands" comment as typical Spike sarcasm.>>

Not at all. You act like there are dozens of winning systems out there and nobody is playing the 'hard' ones. There are NO systems that win consistantly, so you better believe that no matter how hard a true winning system is, the casinos will be drowning in it sooner than later.

Look at card counting. To do it properly, counting is extremely hard to do. Only a very small percentage of those that attempt it actually do it correctly. Yet it changed BJ forever.

Don't kid yourself. If you have a winning roulette system and post it on a public board, the game of roulette will change forever. But as I said, nobody is holding their breath.
