Doey-Don't on PL/DP

Doey-Don't on PL/DP.

Note: In some casinos the pass has to be a dollar
more to be considered a legal bet if you are the
shooter. (don't ask why I don't know - something
about interest in the game)

Bet equal amounts on the Pass and Don't pass.

If a 5, 6, 8, 9 show, take $20 odds on the number
and Place bet two of the remaining three inside
numbers for 3 units each. If the 6 or 8 is the
point, you'll surround the point number.

If either the 4 or 10 show, lay $80 against that
number. Put up a $12 hardway bet on it, and then Place
bet the 6 and 8 for $18 each.

On first hit of either 6 or 8, take down the other
number, take down the lay bet, take down the hardway
and and you have a guaranteed $3 profit with an $18
number still up. Or leave the two bets up at a single
unit each.  At a cold table take it all down and keep
the entire profit.

A quick 7 costs $6, but only a 3-1 or, if the point
number is 10, a 6-4 can really beat you hard. On
any given roll, you've got 10 ways to win $21, six
ways to lose $6 and 2 ways to lose $80. I like the
odds of this play, but the key is to get the lay and
hardways down immediately on first hit.

----
Also, cheap way to bet odds.  Also a good way
to bet a $25 table when you are really only a
$5 bettor.

Doey-Don't with the Pass line $1 more.

Assume 10x odds...for one dollar and with your
DD at $26/$25 you could take $260 in odds at
the cost of $1.

-----------------------

Comment: Hedges, such as a above, will eventually cause ruin.  This one is no exception.

The big concern is losing the Lay bet.  That can cost as much as $92  ($89 + $12) and not the mere $80 the author states.  Did I say "mere?"  $80 is a lot of cash to lose on a single bet and will happen more than you know.  But that is what happens when you hedge.

You'd be better off either playing the Right or the Wrong side exclusively.  Having the DP up while trying to capitalize on the Odds bet negates all those wonderful naturals that will occur.  They can be a lifesaver.

Use this at your own risk and peril.

Do you plan to give us any methods that are winners??

Thanks in advance.

caddy asked: "Do you plan to give us any methods that are winners??"

Short answer - probably not, especially if you consider two plans in the preceding previous posts to be losers when, in actuality, they can be serious money makers.

See my original post.  I am going through my collection one-by-one and trying to do the best analysis I can.

Any system, plan or method can and probably will win given the right table on the right day with the right shooters.

It's your job to have practiced plans that suit you and your BR and bring at least 3 (or more) with you and hopefully one will match the table you are playing.  Apply it. Change plans as the table changes.  Far easier said than done.

Get rich and famous.
