Another day of justice-

I am not normally one to take delight in the misfortune of others; however, there are exceptions.

I ran into a problem at the Tropicana two summers ago.  I was rudely approached by security and  asked what I was doing.  I was treated like I was caught past posting or stealing.  I was merely recording numbers on paper.  I always stay out of the way, while tracking, and the Trop was especially convenient for this purpose because there are slot aisles relatively unoccupied next to the wheels where I would watch from.  Anyway, I had won quickly the past two weekends, but only peanuts compared to Kimo's strike.   I told the jackoff security that I'd be playing within 2 spins, but left instead and haven't been back since.

Shortly thereafter, I heard and read stories about nasty rooms and bed bugs in the hotel.  I loved it.    Then, I got an awesome Christmas present in early December.  The NJ Casino Control Commission had refused to renew their license.  As far as I know, they are still operating with a temporary trustee or something.

Over much of the past ten years I've made a living both directly and indirectly from the casino industry, but not from playing of course. So you can see,   I am not a casino hater, but I do believe this to be another "Day of Justice".  They got what they deserve.  F them.

Great story of a true professional gambler's life.

Thanks for sharing your history with us Kimo. Personally, I've never been "dead broke" (thanks god), but at times I have been living on roulette and experienced it.

Yes, it isn't the most pretty experience and your wife goes nuts on you relying on gambling to put the bacon on the table (right now my advice to everybody is to keep the regular job, be certain of that)... but I know with regular luck and a fair strategy, it can be done.
