Most people automatically thinks you're losing tons of money if you tell them that you're going to the casino.

Great to hear, mate.

A long time ago...
I was at my local casino with my best friend, I had been at the casino for 4 hours with a BR of 100 Euro and just made them become 200 Euro.
Then my friend comes and spend 30 minutes or was it 1 hour... with me and he lose 800 Euro in that short time of period.

He told me he hade to go home because he was not feeling so good.
That maked me not feel so good because it was me ho invite him to have some fun with me at our local casino.

This was the first time I realize that my best friend was a compulsive gambler and did never ask him again to join me to chill out at our local casino.
He told me what happen and a long story short, he just wanted more and could not quit playing.

Now I smoke and we have a special room for that in our local casino.
One time there was a man and hes wife, maybe girlfriend, they hade lost 2500 Euro and making new plans how to win it back.
I stand there and hear all about it.
Just thougt for my self with a humbel touch, idiots or was it poor humans.

Cheers

LS

What do they say again? Denial is a sign of addiction....... ;D

Shorty

I answered yes to one question, which was;

# After a win did you have a strong urge to return and win more?

Who doesn't have this urge?  ;D

LMAO Good one mate! ;D
I answered 'yes' to only one question. Looks like it's Compulsive Gambling that's denying me, and not the other way around. :P

Wish you all the best!

Your mate,
Marven

At the risk of sounding like I'm also in denial......

Is there any distinction between:

Old mate down at the pub pumping the dollars into the pokies

and

Us lot here that generally speaking, play with a structured system and disciplined money control - which when successful gives more of a sense of achievement than a "yes - I won $20!!!" feeling?

Or are we just as bad?   :-\

as long as your winning, WHO CARES!!!!!!!!!!!

I think this test is great to do now, and after a while. If you answer more that the previous time it's obvious you're getting an addiction. Than maybe you should step away from the game for a while. I have 4 questions anwerd with yes.

I answered yes to every question.

Here in the US, right after the lottery commercials are the GA commercials.  It's big money.  I'm betting on it.
