I have not given up on the G.U.T.  I have made some stupid decisions which put me even further into the hole.  I have had some family issues to deal with which has kept me from being focused.  Enough excuses........

I still question whether or not the Starburst wheel plays the same as the one they had before.   I still wonder why they got rid of that one.  Do casinos do that from time to time?  Change wheels?  If they do, it will verify something Gamlet once said:  A system that works on one wheel may not on another.  (Something like that.)  The casino changes wheels to throw off the players.

Soon the USA will be on-line everywhere and I see the wheel at IBC and Joyland looks much like the one Bella Vegas used to have.  When I said this was the last test of the G.U.T., I had no idea they would switch wheels on me.  So, if I fail on this wheel---and I will let you know that---I will continue the test next year or whenever on another wheel.

I have not lost the faith.

Due to personal--not financial--reasons I am going to have to put the G.U.T. study on hold for a time.  There is something wrong with me I have never experienced while gambling in all my life.  I have lost self-control.  It's almost like I have a hell-bent desire to loose.  I seem to find ways to be in the other room when a crossing is due.

I think it is time for me to delve more into the psychological aspects of gambling to see what this monkey on my back is and how to get him off.

If I had to answer the question, "Was this test a success or failure?" I would have to answer "failure" as I did loose the original $200.  I do not feel the fault lies with the G.U.T.  When I was playing it correctly, I won.  I can no longer--for some unknown reason--play it correctly.

Hey Sam,

Totally understand where your coming from.  It's happend to me a many a times.  Finally I told myself (and the wife), that I have an alotted time to play, and nothing else happens during that time.  Removes all the distractions that cause those stupid losses.

I am convinced by that game, but I don´t play it day by day. Just when I´m feeling nice and there is nothing else on my mind than the wisch of having some fun.

I don´t put me in that need to "earn" some extra money. It is just fun, like playing a game ov chess or any card-game.

Yes, I lost it.  I began playing a Martingale.

I am beginning to understand what an alcoholic feels and goes through.  I simply could not control myself.  It was as if another being just inhabited my mind and took away my will.

I truly don't understand it.

The loss was tiny compared to what the stock market has done to me, so I'm not worried.  Just a lot of work down the drain.

yes I have had same feeling too sam you try to push it  might have had few end on end losses then something else takes over

I did the same thing with the VLS Lw Methodology.  There has to be a way around this.  R. D. Ellison says that after years of gambling, he still fights it.

I'm thinking maybe the problem is that it's never cured--like alcoholism.  Every time you go to gamble, you have to remind yourself that the Devil can take you over at any minute.

An on-going war!  Could that be the answer?

Yes Sam, that´s the point.

Therefore I always play only with 1ct or 10ct.-bets.

If the devil comes over me, there s only 20 euros lost.
I start only with a bankroll of 20 euros.
when I´m up twice or three times this starting-BR I let the devil out and stop that "drinking-session" when I´m back down to 20 euros.

control that guy by giving him room to get excited.

I Agree with you guys. It make good profit.  But you need to know when to get out.

Progression sucks with G.U.T as when i tested with 8K spins...I got 16...losing streaks....hehe
