as i thought your example wasnt a bad run, matter of fact i have seen worst on online casino, say if 20 reds came up and you bet 20 on black (you are hoping black will hit as many times)

it seems odd but i guess it might work.

so this method is hoping what ever the amounts of red hits you get then you want the same hits with black and using a sliding progression.

is this system still making money ?

This has been done before and I am sorry to say you will lose if you play that long enough.  There will be long streches of losing and the pressure is going to too much.  (Not to mention table limits). 

It is easy to say <<spin five you bet 6>> or whatever.  But when it comes to <<spin 37 you bet 45>> then it becomes a little more difficult.  It can go (and will go) a lot further than than 37.
