Hello all mods,

Firstly I would like to say it is just a personal opinion of what I think about sections, this is not a flame thread or aim towards any section on board VLS.It is based on a general overview of what I see here.As all of us can see, there are a few sections here, some are really active and some are just plain dead even the moderators of their own section is non contactable and missing, they might be 6 foot under now who knows?I would like to give special mention to people like Lucky Strike,Win with maths and a few other mods for their active participation in keeping their sections alive and putting the effort to impart their skills and experience in this beautiful game.

Are those sections that are dead necessary? After having their own sections, mods who promise to share their methods with the community here then disappear half way before completing their duties.I find this irresponsible and a waste of web space, you request for a section of your own,you are given some space but you did not complete the job you suppose to.I think in future we should really consider who to give a private section, the candidate must have conviction and commitment to a certain degree. If a section id dead then take it off the board, what's the point? Its taking up web space and members are not getting anything out of it.

Anyone wishes to add anything?

Hi see jerek,

I fully understand what you are saying, however, as long as there is no problem regarding web space, I do not think that removing them will be of any benefit.
I, for one, am fairly new to this forum, and still browse old posts. Maybe who knows, a new member will find an 'old system' posted in the past, modify it , and make it a great system.. who knows

Ps: i am obviously not a mod, just another member giving his opinion

Cheers

fair point

Yeah its fair, this statement is not targeted at anyone in particular, its just too many inactive sections. We need moderators with conviction in the game of roulette,it benefits the whole community.

The sections are good because you can just ignore what do not want to read.

It's good for blood pressure.  ;D
