Some of you may have noticed I am once again a moderator.  I could squash the follow statement Herb made to me:  "Your world is small becaue you don't travel much." but I didn't.

I choose to ignore Herb.  More of you might want to consider doing the same.  I have tried to be decent and even complimentary to both he and Spike and it is a futile effort.  

My goal as a mod is to encourage this forum to do more ignoring, more working, more studying and a lot less arguing.  When you argue with these people, all you do is give them ammunition to fire back at you.  Why do that?  Why not just continue with what you're doing?

With that, I put Herb/Landis and all of his future names on IGNORE.  I can assure you if everyone ignores him, he will go away!  Why not try it, Richard?

Landis/herb is the most disruptive member I have ever come across on this forum. Having my thread messed up
was the last straw and I am not prepared to put up with it. I have spelled it out to the Moderators that  I want
him banned for ever from this forum, it's non negotiable.

I have so far not received a reply from the Moderators.

I have stated in the Signum thread if I don't get a satisfactory reply by the end of this week my association
with this forum is at an end. If you and the other Moderators wish to ignore such disruptive behaviour that's
fine but, don't expect me to waste my time with such nonsense.

This is where we could use a real moderator.  At this time I would like ask for Twocat's resignation as a moderator and I'd like to censure Mr. Chips.  (Since we don't have public stoning available to us on the forum.) :)

 This a public forum where people should be allowed to express their thoughts and opinions about the game without insulting each other.
It is far fetched to assume that you are going to have everyone agreeing with you about everything you say. You can't control people's thoughts.
Would a simple solution not be just to agree to disagree and both promise not to post in each others threads again FULL STOP or face the wrath of the moderators.  :skull:

My opinion is this:
Really the big problem is the emotional state of certain forum members

Can we please just put emotion aside and deal with factual arguments?
How can we gain knowledge if facts are suppressed?
Isn't this supposed to be a place where we share ideas?
Please don't let freedom of speech die on the forum.
Someday, we will all regret these loss of ideas if we do.

I think all views should be expressed.
Simply put, the facts need to come out.

All ideas are welcome

When ideals are no longer welcome and the facts are suppressed, ignorance grows.
Only the fools ignore facts.
Many people lose when the facts are lost in childish arguments.
And all posters should except that other people may disagree with their ideas.
No man or woman should be allowed to censure anyone else on the forum.

I have nothing against argue, but with posters who alwasy repeat themselws ans post the same thing over and over I do. Like I said before, move on, stop repeating same thing..

You have posted your opinions ,dont you think its now time that the forum members were given enough respect to make up their own minds whether to persue their testing/or not of Signum or any other system for that matter?
At the end of the day they will take on board what you have both said and then make up their OWN minds as what to do.

That is not the issue here. It is whether you as a Moderator and the the other Moderators should allow
certain members of this forum to be the target of disruptive behaviour. Landis/herb finally went over
the top by creating a thread with my exact title, and I sent you a PM about it and you chose to ignore it.

Now this imbecile is sending me pathetic PM's, which I have not replied to but sent to Admin.

You and the other Moderators have to decide whether Landis/herb's irrational behaviour is acceptable
in this forum. If so, then I no longer wish to be a member of this forum.

Why don't you set up a forum on your Signum website. Some people on this forum are genuinely interested in learning Signum and you should create an environment for them to do so.

I have a question that I wanted to ask you, but since you've locked the thread I've been unable to do so. If you've had enough of this forum, consider starting your own.

to put up with any more nonsense and it's unfortunate, that as a result I won't be able continue with Signum
here.

Promote Cheating? What is your definition of cheating? I haven't seen anyone promote past posting or the like here.

This post should have an lock and this matter should be at mod area, as it has now.

Regarding other topics i only see history repeat it self here and its like putting more wood into the fire.

Any one are free not to ignore or ignore its up to the members and why not make an general post about it.

By definition, administrators/moderators should stick to the procedural; instead of biasing and/or limiting the topical, day-to-day stuff... and it follows that they shouldn't be regular "contributors".

If some person(s) wishes to keep changing his/her username(s) because he/she just can't be themselves, and then leave "for good" and in a huff... do they think every one else, including the admin/mod's, are here for any one person?

Let the darn "chips" fall where those will, get on with it... the truly great get rid of the "losers" first.
