Card Counting Question

Mr J

I've had this on my mind for a while so I thought I would bring it up. Lets say you know that high value cards will be coming up soon. Its you at the table along with 4 other players and OF COURSE, the dealer. You have a 5 and a 6 and the dealers up card is a 6. So what? We have 6 people total playing. Who is to say that *YOU* will get a high card? Fine, there are more still left but no more of a chance that you will get it. Am I wrong on this? I do understand the point of high and low cards but how is it that *YOU* will get what you need? Ken ((NOTE: I'm at the stupid library cause my computer is at Best Buy being fixed so I really cant answer anything right away))

HI

the answer is simply .. u just dont know it !!! .. u need a big bankroll to get an advantage and out run the losses !!!

card counting doesent mean u win every time !!!

Shorty

Card counting can only really give you between a 1% - 3% edge over the dealer. The movies make it seem like an easy task to beat the casinos.

Mr J

Ok, good answers (thanks) but as far as my question goes......is there any "rule" that says *I* will get the high card as opposed to the other 5 people?  Ken

Hello Mr J,

There is no rule saying who should get the high card.
