When I was a kid, the neighbours had a dog called Spike.

It was a cantankerous, flea riddled, mangy old mongrel of a thing with rotten teeth, that never stopped yapping and barking at everyone.

It used to think it owned the whole street and would terrorize any poor bugger that happened along.

Just thought I'd mention that.
