If they get deleted in a TIMELY manner, I have no issue with that.  Ken

"accept criticism" >>> I have no problem accepting it, its part of message boards BUT what about the posters starting trouble, calling people foul names etc.?  Ken

Report them to moderator, that's what is supposed to be done.

In the end, I think members should not be given the power to silence other members, just doesn't seem right.

If every naysayer were to start a new topic to express his or her dissent, the forum would become far messier than it is now.

There will always be conflicts and disagreements; sweeping them all under the carpet will never resolve anything, and will eventually wreck the carpet too.

I do agree with you to a point what annoys me about negativity someone will post a strategy and automatically weill get jumped on and the usual crap come out like it wont work nothing works  no explanation just nothing works same ole same ole

The problem about this is that very little DOES actually work. If someone says "It doesn't work and here is why...." That is fair enough, then the other party should explain why they think is DOES work, instead of just being able to delete the post. People should substantiate their claims and backup their ideas with theory and fact, otherwise, yeah, it's just an endless chain of hypercriticism and crying.

The people who post clues, like stevetracker, should certainly be dealt with. This is unacceptable, pointless and counterproductive.

It should be up to the mods to keep the threads in order and delete abusive posts. Isn't that what they are there for? People lose it sometimes, and that is part of life. You can't eradicate it. Here they get warned, then banned.

Here You Go People.

Now the Global Moderators and the Admins will control these 2 Topics....as they Should.

Thank you, guys, for voting & replying!

Basically, I'm also afraid that the new "member = moderator" policy will cause more pain than good.
IMHO, it already does. The fact that most of the members do not like it is another important signal.

Anyways, it's admins team decision, I personally respect all of 'em & their decisions... so, good luck! :good:

Lupo
