mini roulette - what do you think?

some casinos have mini-roulette.  it has 12 numbers, and the middle column is shared to left and right with low and high columns.
also there is one zero, with half of bet return.
I thought it is heaven playing this, less number, bigger chances, but not, I lose big!
What do you think? Any good strategy for 12 number mini-roulette?

Don't be fooled by that.

Mini-roulette is to be avoided as it has higher house edge.
