Not true. The roulette device can be beat by a serious advantage player, and the methods involved can be taught.

An advantage player has an advantage that can be proven mathematically to have a +EV.

Please show us these advantage play roulette techniques that can be proven mathematically to have a +EV and can be taught.

VB, bias play, and hybrid DS (i.e. dealer signature with VB elements).
I'm kinda surprised you didn't know, you seemed rather knowledgeable about AP.

Anyway, if you're serious about studying the proper methods, I can privately point you towards the right material.

I don't know enough about this to know if bias play and dealer signature can be proven substantially enough to know what your EV will be.  I'm not saying you cannot, I'm saying I just don't know.  Perhaps it is similar to hole card peeking at blackjack, I don't know exactly what my EV will be if I find a sloppy dealer but the EV will be so high I don't care if I can't calculate it exactly.

Yes, send me some information to point me in the right direction on these techniques.

I am convinced that the only way to beat roulette--as well as any game of chance is with one or more partners.  At least someone who can see what you can't see in a system.  Plus if you are the type of bettor that tends to make compulsive bets, your partner(s) can remind you of the agreed plan.
