Hi guys,

My first time, please be gentle.

I just wondered if anyone has any experience in the following:

You register with a reputable online casino and play a few practice roulette bets for fun (no money) to get a feel for it.

If you then decide to play for real money, how close to the practice game is the real thing? I mean this to be including the look and feel, the way the game plays (is it as fair and consistent as the fun game?) and the frequencies that the bets come out.

I have played a few fun games with ladbrokes and virgin casinos and seem to be winning more than losing, so want to play for money but i'm a bit concerned that the real games might play diffeently to what i have practiced?

Any input would be great and thanks!

Hey Peter, welcome to the club.

This seems to be a common occurence with most online players - win in fun mode, lose in real mode.

In fact, some online casinos actually admit in their terms & services agreement, that the odds of winning are higher in play mode.  So some precautions should be taken.

Best of luck,
Matt

I think you should aim for an real wheel with an real dealer and play for fun mode then go real when you are ready.
Like DB.
If there is an option to do so.
Then I don't see that fun mode or real mode has any differens.

Regarding RNG I think fun mode and real mode can have an differens.
