Can I post this link please (Youtube)? I of course never sell anything, this is a GREAT documentary put out by the BBC a couple years ago. Its in 6 parts, around a total of an hour. Its in regards to the gambling life in Vegas and is fun to watch! Enjoy >>> Louis Theroux Gambling In Las Vegas 1 of 6

Spike

I really enjoyed that, Ken, despite the douch-bag Brit who was the host. You can tell he's from a socialist Nanny-state like England. All he's concerned about is who is looking out for the well being of the poor gamblers, like they're children and he thinks they need strong mother figure to tell them what to do. Its what Obama is trying to do to us.

I really enjoyed the BJ player Johnny, who was up 10K in the first 2 hours and then couldn't win a hand the rest of the night. He looked like he wanted to kill somebody. Or the Gay son of the old lady who was trying to act like it didn't bother him that mommy was throwing away his dead fathers money. Or the high roller who lost 70K in the slots. What kind of idiot plays the slots? He loses half a million and you know its killing him, but he has to act cool..

I thought it was great hour, despite the jerk off host..

Mr J

"He loses half a million and you know its killing him, but he has to act cool" >>> lol, I agree. Ken

Number Six

Socialist nanny state, are you joking? We are ruled by inept, detached fascists. And don't forget, the worst fascist of the lot sits in the Oval Office.

Spike

I just watched it again. I can guarantee you the high roller who lost half a mil took half of it out in markers. Now he'll go home, mortgage his business again, and pay off the markers.

The host douch-bag flashes his 3K in the room of the other high roller like its a lot of money! Ken takes more than that to the casino. And its still in the ATM envelope! They make fun of him at the table because of the envelope and he's so dense he doesn't even know it. Then he makes 1500 in an hour and a half and thinks its not enough. The guy is a crybaby rube, but he thinks he's really hip. Pretty funny..

You have too much time to spare, Spike.

It was crudola the first time, why watch it again?

NEThingisPossible

Thanks for the video J,

Someone tell Martha to stop playing the SLoT$ !!!

I think that guy that said he was up 10k was really the guy down 160k ah.

The Hilton should be ashamed of themselves, Johnny lost over 250k and they only gave him 3k to spend at Neman and Marcus WoW thats just a pair of Ferragamos  :haha:

I live in Vegas and all of the Casinos I go to are filled with these kinds of people the only difference between each of them is their Bankroll it doesn't matter how much they spend $1 or 500k it is all an illusion.

Spike

Because you seldon get to see big bettors up close and personal. And you NEVER get to see how totally condecending and ass kissing the casino hosts are towards big winners. It makes you sick. They know they're going to lose and its their JOB to see that they lose, but they act like they're best friends and the stupid high roller think they ARE friends. You see some of this in TV show's like 'Las Vegas', but to actually see it for real is an eye opener. Knowing something is going on and actually seeing it aren't the same thing. I've been going to casinos since the 70's and how would I have seen anything like this, I'm not a high roller, I never had a host hovering over my every move.

Sorry all you got out of it was 'crudola', oh well..

Mr J

Good point. A couple of the hosts said they would take their "friend" off to the side and tell them to COOL IT if they felt they were betting unusually high amounts as of late. I say BS, they most likely would not say a word, I could be wrong.  Ken

Spike

You're not wrong, its their job to see the guy loses his shirt and they act like they feel sorry for them. The high roller actually said his buddy the host is rooting for him to WIN, thats how clueless he is. Its really quite pathetic. Its a fact that casino personell think gamblers are idiots and they have no respect for them. They consider them suckers that are ripe for the plucking.

Well with THAT high roller they are 1000 % correct.....

He must of jumped at the chance to "show the world" what a high flyer he is.....

"lost 1/2 a mil $ in a weekend ?"

"no problem to him"

Ars*hole...... With a capital A

But as you stated over @ GG never wise up a sucker....

After all that's an extra 1/2 a mil for everybody else to win..... 8)

Spike

He must of jumped at the chance to "show the world" what a high flyer he is.....<<<

He would have had to sign a disclaimer that they could use the footage on TV, he must have signed it before the started filming. He ends up looking like a fool.

Exactly.... Sign the disclaimer & show the world what a "big man" I am.....

"1/2 a mil" pocket change etc etc etc.....

he MUST be a fool not to see what his "friend" is doing, keep on gambling till you lose your shirt.....
