Is this a permanent fixture at the forum? I really hope not. I just had to quit my browser because I couldn't close the ad window. It's one thing to have discrete ads in the background but this is really "in your face".

I had a different experience. Mine loads about 10% of the very important ad information and then, after 15 seconds of a countdown timer, it jumps to the forum. So I'm missing all the good stuff that is paying for this forum to have all it's fine features. So, what about making it a full minute before it jumps?

Hello, the ads have been made only for OUTBOUND links (i.e. people who are leaving the website and are not sponsors/staff).

Hope this way they won't bother as much.
