I have not really played a lot of roulette over the last
year. A lot of the time has been spent developing my
methods further. I was not 100% happy and knew in
myself that I could go a lot further if I had the desire
for more hard work. The time spent will pay for itself
over the next few years.
I will never place another roulette bet unless I am
absolutely sure it is the right bet at the right time.
You must value your chips like gold. The casino is
in such a strong position against any player
regardless if that player uses any kind of advanced
strategy. You are playing against a vast army and
it would be rather foolish to fire all your arrows in
a few rounds and yet this is what most players do.
The casino brushes away the first 50 and the player
decides to fire another hundred, then 200, then 400.
Before you know it, there are no arrows left.
The smart player will strategically fire his arrows at
the appropriate times and one at a time. One arrow
aimed properly can do a lot more damage than
hundreds fired all over the place.
How is it possible to gain a long term winning edge
over the house? You need to find a bet where you
can place less chips but still get paid out at full odds.
So if you placed 12 chips on the first dozen and won,
you get back 36 chips. That is not good enough, you
need to find a way to place 6 chips on the first dozen
and get back 36 chips at roughly the same winning
average as placing the 12 chips. It's very simple, if
you can do this, you will be a long term winner. If you
can't do this or are not prepared to find a way and
would rather fire all your arrows hoping for the best,
the casino will chew you up and spit you out.
This is the reality of the situation. You are not going
to be the first player in 200 years to hurt the casino
using any kind of progressive money management
scheme or a bet selection that does not give you the
edge.
The good news is that you can flat bet profitably with
a bet selection that will give you a long term edge
which far outweighs the 2.7% the casino relies on
to beat mugs. I will be trying my best over the next
few weeks to point you in the right direction.
