I have a toy wheel now but I think I should go for the real thing.

;D

What do you think. The mechanics is 100% and I don´t care about the estetiks :D

J.Daniels

It looks amazing Lucky I have another one but it is smaller just a tool for fun ;D

lucky_strike

J Daniels I will take it.
If you or any one wants the link to the store I can PM you and its a great store and give you phone number and who you should talk to.

There is no issue here.
He has New Wheels and Old Wheels.
And he would not have a business if he sold biased wheels.
He is serious.

LeBear

Hi Lucky,
Looks like a nice older Huxley with high profile frets.  Something you may wish to check is have the seller remove the head on the wheel and see if the 4 crimped safety tabs are still in place.

best regards,

Lebear

LeBear or any one.

This is my first real wheel and i don´t know what Lebear mean with this:

"Check if the seller remove the head on the wheel"?

"4 crimped safety tabs"?

Cheers LS

LeBear

Hi Lucky,
A picture is worth a thousand words.  Let me try to find a picture of the tabs.

best regards,

LeBear

Probably not.

The wheel looks like a Paul Tramble.  You will rarely encounter this wheel in the casino.

You would be better off getting a Huxley.

LeBear

Hi Lucky
Go with Herb's call on this type of wheel. He's the expert.  I will still try to find the picture of the Huxley with the safety or security tabs as they are called and post it.

best regards,

LeBear

Thanks Herb and LeBear. I sent a email to him and ask him about this. Maybe i should aim for another wheel.

Cheers LS

Herb

Regarding the security tab wire.  This doesn't mean that the wheel is good or not good.  This is just what the casino/Huxley uses to make sure the wheel isn't tampered with by a third party when in active use.

Hi Herb. Thanks. I sent him a email and it is a Huxley/ABP wheel. I will take it. The price is very good.

Cheers LS

Ronjo

Hi Lucky,

Try getting one with low profile frets, and eight deflectors the one in the pic has sixteen deflectors, then you have something closer to the real deal.If a wheel is not in the casino where it belongs it is no good, the casino has carted it for a very valid reason thats why its second hand.I bought a new Huxley and did a lot of my early testing on it,but I have learnt the only way to test is to use spins that still have to be spun in a real live situation with real money,so the wheel at home with a full size table and chips, and I am the dealer only on these occasions  ;D  is used for family and friend gatherings only now.Its fine testing on paper but dont go to the point of testing for thousands of spins,a couple hundred to a thousand at a time is sufficient, this will give you confidence in your system so you are ready to part with your money.I once tested a system for 5000 spins and it did not fail, on occasions you think you have the holy grail ::), guess what when I was in the real deal after 200 spins I was close to half my bankroll and when that happens I call it a day until another day after I have stoppd feeling sorry for mysef an licked my wounds then I am ready to give it another go.

Take care Bud,
Ronjo.

Hi all I am going to take a look at all the wheels they have at my local casino and see how the profile frets, deflectors are, I haven't thought of this before.

Here is a wheel he has for sale, old but looks good, low profile frets and 8 deflectors, i think, very nice price for it, what do you think.

Cheers LS
