This is an qoute from my self:

QuoteWell I try to email ux-software "did not find an email do" and they would have an give an take situation running this forum.
As many member enjoy developing methods and play for fun and make an buck and first run it with RX to get an feel what they are up against, as it is an great tool.
Bulding new relations and have an give an take situation with other members.

I think a new owner like ux-sofware would benfit two worlds.

This is why I belive this is the best soloution for the forum - my opinion.

1) Victor have been trying them all before and it does not work out the way you think it should if you base your income for the forum from members.

a) This is why and what has happen in the past and I only see that history will repeat it self.
Some pay in the begining and every thing is good, then it slowly get an drawdown and it ends with not many paying members left to run the forum.

2) Advertasing only gives penauts as Victor have post some charts and show there is no money there to gain.

a) As I see this solution is one way ticket to failur.

3) This forum need some one who has an intresst in it and can use it for selling an product to members with out being an scam or make members lose money.

a) Roulette Extreme is an tool that only can benifit the members and not the other way around.
That as I see it.
One great give and take situation with an stabel owner that can provide an stabel future for this forum.

QuoteI say we can collect $300 this december, let's try it.

As I have pay-pal now but did not before so I can send an amount, I will do so.
But I have to say you have been there before and solve the solution with this way.
Now you are here again with the same situation.

I don't see that it is an stabel way or running an forum, it has an poor economic foundation.
This year VLS is up running and next year we don't have an clue if it is.
Because then we will read all this kind of posts again with the same issue.

Nothing in life works out the way it's "supposed to".  Real life is more a combination of distinct qualities and quantities of many different things, whereby each outcome isn't a function of any one of those alone... we can't eg, just apply 'force' to choose who we were meant be, etc.

Often the most-profound lessons about one thing are best learned in the midst of doing something (seemingly) quite-unrelated.  (The old story about the scientist who solved his problem in the middle of "doing the dishes".)

Perhaps Victor is ready to move on to higher-order "holy grails"?  (One reason I currently see value for myself at these sorts of sites, I'm working on more- rewarding and productive quests.)

Good for you and my point is still valid as i see your reply a littel bit confusing and how it apply to this topic.

Perhaps Victor has taken this site asfaras would be reasonably expected.

Why continue to better it when the effort gets exponentially-greater now, with each new upgrade in turn having less impact.

Isn't there a real "danger" on these sites of others putting one in the position of "having to please everyone", of "having something to prove", etc?

Garnabby, the next step for me is to become a forum hoster (VLSforum.com)

Both free with ads and paid.

I learned the hard way people won't want to put their business' hosting in the hands of a newcomer with only one server, but perhaps the for hobbyist world it would be more reasonable.

Plenty of small forums funnelling traffic makes sense.

Also, I want to say I still enjoy roulette for a pleasure, and will still come here to debate.

Besides, lesson learned. Here it was simply a personal forum which grew, absolutely no business plan and that' the mistake not to be repeated again.

As VLSforum.com is to be entirely a for-a-profit endeavor, the bigger it gets the eventual mandatory upgrades benefit everyone, including us here.

We won't just dissapear, and I will still be around doing something I love. Things look brighter, for the better now :)

Just to be clear, (also) I spoke mostly from my own highes and lows, as a simple visitor to some of these forums over the past year; not of the day-to-day "chuckles".

Unlike yourself, I see myself as working towards some sort of slow retreat (from the baccarat-bit), but still happy for any of those thusly-quaint experiences, etc.

WITHOUT some qualified academic/casino-gaming EXPERTS, I doubt there will ever be a progression from any of the "development" stages, in which even you find yourself here, to an end-product (which is sellable).

Well how come there was so littel intresst in RX to be the owner.

I still think Victor should had ask Roulette Extreme if they would have an intresst, they would be the perfect owner.
And my educated guess is that they would have an large intresst in this forum.
Over 3000 potential clients to buy there RX and bouth members and forum would gain from that.

I agree LS, it's a good idea.  IMO it would be much better for the forum than the alternative being considered at the moment.

I'm sure Victor had his reasons for choosing Steve over anyone else.
