Cleaning up the forum

The official rules of the forum are as follows:

====================================

VLSRoulette.com Forum Rules:

The following rules are for the benefit of the forum. The emphasis is on creating an open and friendly environment where people feel welcome to share and discuss ideas and concepts, without fear of being attacked or ridiculed.

1. No abusive language or personal attacks. This includes even if it is just retaliation for what another member said to you. Moderators will not distinguish between who started it and who is retaliating. This is not a court of law. Consider this carefully if someone attacks you - if you retaliate, you risk being banned. Instead, just report the initiating member and give specific examples of their breach of the rules. Remember if someone you don't like breaks the rules and you don't, you'll have the last laugh.

2. No copyrighted material or intellectual property. It will just put the forum in danger of being shut down. It doesn't matter if the material is from a scammer - copyrighted material must be respected.

3. No "clickable" links unless from the moderators, or permission is give by the moderators.

4. Posts that promote products and services may only be made in the "Systems, Tools and Services For Sale" section. This includes services like moneybookers or whatever. If you post promotions or you are found to have been promoting against the rules, you will be banned. No-one wants spam.

4. Respect other people's opinions. Especially for experienced players, when someone says they have a holy grail that bets on red/black and they claim they can make millions overnight, it is hard to resist. Say what you think and it is best to support your opinions with factual data (although not "required"), but don't attack people personally. If you simply disagree with another member and aren't making any progress, it is best to simply agree to disagree - respect that everyone has their own views.

5. Do not inhibit free expression of ideas. Everyone should feel free to speak their mind without fear of being attacked or ridiculed. This rule is very important. For example: if someone says they can beat roulette with voodoo, you can give your opinion and whatever information to support your opinion, but don't make them feel small or talk down to them - they have the right to believe whatever they want.

6. Do not be a general nuisance ("trolling"), or behave in any way that significantly reduces forum productivity. Sure a member can "technically" avoid breaking the other rules, but still be bad for the forum. Such members will be warned about their behavior, and if such behavior continues, the member may be banned. The moderators at their sole discretion will determine what they consider to be "trolling".

7. No multiple identities.

General Advice and Notes for Members:

   * If someone is breaking the rules, or is a general bully, report them and give specific details. Every post has a link so you can report it to the moderators.

   * If the event of a rule breach, members may be either banned for a day or so, or in more sever cases, banned permanently. Typically a warning will be given before any ban takes place, although this depends on the severity of the breach.

Respect other members:

   * Understand and respect that everyone is different, and everyone has independent beliefs. Yes belefs alone do not change facts, and often someone is wrong while someone is right. If you are right or at least believe this, I suggest state your case and reasons for your beliefs, and if another person doesn't see what you see or agree, let it be. Just get on with your life. Conflict will just drag you both down. When you try and force your views down another person's throat, conflict is inevitable.

   * Do NOT suppress another member's ideas, or ostracize them for researching an area that you don't believe in.

====================================

I just banned davey-jones because he thought it was ok to call me a "shill", among other reasons. It's a pitty as he supports AP as far as I'm aware. Sure there will be people that dont agree with my decision. Everyone knows the rules, and they exist to keep the forum productive. If you break them, you will be banned. If you attack another member on a personal level, you will be banned.

This is not being Hitler. This is being a moderator. Previously I think some of the major problems with vls included:

1. way too many mods
2. the mods tried to please "everyone", which just doesn't work.

So now we have fewer mods, and if you are a constant negative influence, you will not be welcome here - you'll be banned. This will pave the way for constructive and friendly discussions, between people who respect each other.. rather than constant battling over egos and insignificant things. Sure this will piss off some people, leading to attacks against me but I really dont care. Those complaining people will see vls become more productive and better for everyone who actually wants to share and contribute.

If anyone has a problem with me, and think I'm a scammer without ever having dealt with me personally, sure you are allowed to be here, but dont be here if all you're going to do is attack me. I am going to clean up the forum and enforce the rules, which are fair, and for the benefit of the forum. Keep in mind to refute false claims of me being a scammer, we had a well known and trusted member (Ronjo) receive my roulette computer free for testing. His results clearly proved my claims to be accurate. If you dont accept that, so be it - you dont need to accept it. But still adhere to forum rules.

If people like CEH or whoever think just because management has changed that they can find a way back onto the forum, rest assured once they are identified they will be banned. THE MODERATORS CANNOT POSSIBLY READ EVERY POST, SO MEMBERS MUST REPORT POSTS OR MEMBERS THAT ARE A PROBLEM. MODERATORS RELY ON MEMBER ACTION.

It is clear some people dont like me, despite not even knowing me. They dont seem capable of thinking for themselves, and tend to base their opinion of me on what they've read. That is fine if you fall into this category, but do not break the rules.

When it comes to me personally, there is nothing wrong with people questing me and investigating if I'm really a scammer etc. There have been many people who attack me on RF but I dont ban them - I refute their false claims in a logical manner and make an example of them. But if you want to question me, best do it directly with me via email or phone, not on the forum.

PS - Davey, if you can actually follow the forum rules, you can come back because you have been a member for a reasonable amount of time. But if you're just going to attack, forget it.

GARNabby

But nobody ever posts the rules required to be beaten in any of these games... or where those must be "broken", ie eventually rewritten.

And Steve goes on to his "great deal" of partnering (, like Ellis, except Ellis provides a simple system or two to at least make you think you're in control,) with a "roulette-computer" when what has to be beat there is the non-computational, those variables which (by any known science or quackery) can not be controlled.

Any Joe Blow can figure on what the ball will do while it's spinning, nicely around the drum, but... which are all of the uncontrollable variables after it begins to slow?  Precongition isn't even "on the radar"... real scientists "leave the door open" on that issue not because any of them believe/know "a word of it", but because such basic scientific policy could matter to other more-plausible issues, even where those arise as a consequence of the ESP-stuff.

@ GARNabby,

I do not mean to be disrespectful in any way, but at the best of times I have some trouble clearly understanding your posts. (are you Italian?)

Could I ask what your post here has to do with cleaning up the forum?

Despite the off topic nature, I am sorely pressed to say... AHEM TO THAT BROTHER!

Hi bombus,

Thanks for asking (, and hope you haven't insulted the Italians, lol)

The best way to rid the shills, etc, is to just get into the "meat" of these matters... once and for all, instead of constantly re-writing the rules/etiquettes of the forum, itself, sometimes for only the sole purpose of avoiding all that.

Generally, good input equates to good output, and from everyone.  Anyway, it's the vagueness of such "rules/etequettes" already (rightly-formed) within each of us, and from our own perspectives, which can't help but get in the way otherwise.  Matters less who each of us "likes/dislikes" than what is accomplished by all.  Let the arguments/results "rule the day".

Second, though it may seem like a lot more work to "bite a few bullets" (in the form of some technical learning and research) early on, you would be surprised at the rapidity of revelations to follow... the best discoveries were made by those who first learned, "It can't be done."  After all here, that's the casino's stance... which must be undermined to beat it.

Is anyone here going for the million-dollar win, or is everyone "playing house"?

Steve

Garn I do not understand what you are trying to say and dont want to re-read it, but it doesnt seem relevant here. As for your opinions on precognition etc, no problem, they are opinions.

If a professional roulette-player wants to head a public and popular message-board about roulette, then he'll have to show some "real speed" from start to finish... not more of the self-fulfilling (precognitive?) prophecies of "new world orders".

Which other well-known and respected person of any field of study/practice would even joke about being a "Scamopolus"... and allow so many "attacks" to (otherwise) go unanswered?

Yep, that would be Garnabby for sure!

Gannaby I still have no idea what you are talking about. Make short, punchy and direct points.

I have to show you "real speed". Oh ok. Where is this written rule? My point: I dont care what you think I owe you. I dont care about joking around and changing my name to scamopolous because I dont have anything to prove, and the people that matter which includes my players know the truth about me. When someone attacks me on a forum, if I see it, I will usually respond and let them attack me if they stick to the rules - why? to make an example of them, like Iboba. But I cannot possibly read every post and attack, and most of the attacks are not worth my time even for amusement. You appear to criticize me for now answering 100% of attacks. That's about the most ridiculous thing I heard all week.

I dont take nonsense seriously. Should I?

Garnaby, if you are here to contribute and learn about roulette, do it.

Thanks, what a compliment!

ADulay/Ellis, maybe you could help us with Rebirtha's Q, nolinks://vlsroulette.com/brainstorming/breaking-even-t14259/ ... would be a refreshing change from the same old, "Hmmm, yep" stuff about having won your last 100 shoes in a row.

As it appears this board has already grown so much bigger that Steve just couldn't get around to such an important post.

Are you retarded?  That was no compliment, but you knew that, you're just looking to see yourself in still another pointless post.

Also, I'm not on a streak of 100 winning baccarat hands, it's only 19 out of 20 AGAIN.  For some reason I can't get the 20 out of 20 like I'm going for.

And about helping on that thread you mentioned.  What would be the point?  Somebody is looking for a 50/50 game in the casino?  Well, that discussion should last about two messages, unless you join in and then it may go on forever or at least until you run out of things to cut and paste from all over the internet.

You're right about the 50-50 games (, but that wasn't really the question)... especially because the Ellis/AD -stuff "leads the suckers" even further from what wasn't 50-50 to begin with.

Because none of the math, etc, is known by you... there's no way you will ever have even a 50-50 chance (, dare I write a 19/20 chance, lol,) on which to then build your winnings, by being able to correctly answer that fundamental question.

You have a nice weekend too, Ellis.

Maybe you can get around to creating some more clones of yourself... ADulay just isn't "cutting it" anymore. ( nolinks://nolinks.rouletteforum.net/cgi-bin/forum/Blah.pl?m-1263841349/ .)

Steve, there's got to be a rule about having too much fun here?

QuoteSteve, there's got to be a rule about having too much fun here?

If the fun is in good faith, of course not. Stuffing around is great, and while it arguably wastes time, it's sure better than negative conflict. And at least it keeps the forum a friendly and open place.
