I learned that the Real Money RNG is bad on online casinos, here is a premise I wanted to test with you guys.  Does the RNG in fun mode=a live action play? While you don't earn money in fun mode, could the performance in fun mode parallel the live wheel?

RICHIECHIPS

That is a good question.....A "Random Numbers Generator" can, if not tampered with, mimic a live wheel well enough that it could give you the same reasonable fair play.  Some will disagree & they are not entirely wrong but I would still say it's good enough.
However, too many Online casinos are reactive and / or defensive and either Tune their RNG software like the slots to pay off x % and recover x%.  We all know how we do on the slots.  The other defense they set up is to "Spider" all their accounts in a split second like the Internet's search engines and they will see profits accumulating in accounts and then their computers lie in wait for you to come back online.   The other alternative is they often defend against an increased bet.  That is when they hit you.  So while the RNG can give fair play it too often interfered with.

RNG is only for real playing ! and is random like ground casino !

As I understood it from reading through th terms and conditions of one onlibe casino, "fun mode" relies on your own PC to provide the random numbers.

Forget Rip Off Number Generators. (RNG) .You will Loose your ass to it and your home if your not carefull!...    IT's  very easy for an RNG to steal your money. Most Rng's are fixed to steal your money , no question about it.

Good people.

It is NOT the RNG - it is the on-line casino and what they do.

All an RNG can do is spit out a sequence of numbers.

When on-lines first started up anyone playing in "fun mode" would find that it was THEIR computers' built-in RNG function that controlled the outcome.  Most on-line casinos were honest enough to tell you that if you read the fine print.

Playing for real money, it was their software that ran the entire show.

Let's say, for the sake of argument, that whatever software package an on-line casino was using met the NV or NJ standards of being totally random.  So, at the outset we have an honest game as in a land-based casino.

Now, down the road, the casino needs to control losses.  They can run a completely transparent program that will change the true outcome to the one you will see on your screen.  If the number 21 comes up and you were on it, you may see the #13 displayed and that isn't a winner for you.  Not hard to do.  And such a program can be turned off and on at-will.  Just one of many ways to cheat.

If something like that were not possible then there is no way that those folks who used to advertise "be your own casino" could guarantee you would make money.  I once found a page, a very long time ago, that explained how it all worked.  That made me furious and totally resolved to not play on-line.  Not even at a govt. regulated site.

RNG machines are tough anyway.  They in no way resemble an actual wheel as to outcomes.  The new Bally V-32 roulette machine found in many casinos is proof of that.  I can adopt one of my many plans to whatever a live dealer is spinning and generally hold my own at any casino.  Not so on those infernal machines.

When you play a live wheel, it's you and maybe thousands against that wheel.

RNG is YOU alone against that machine.  All they have to do is program the computer to look at your winnings and decide if it's too much and then start putting the puck where you are NOT.  The RNG picks the number AFTER you bet.  I would love to see an RNG with a box that says, "OK, we've picked a number!  It's secret and it's guaranteed.  Now you bet and we'll have a look-see at it"  Like the dealers hole card!

I seriously doubt that the fun mode game is run on your computer.  Why?  When you play in fun mode, you always win and they put that little box up saying it's your lucky day and you should play for real.

How about this idea:

1.  You punch "Select Number" button and a box lights up to say "OK, we have a number chosen."
2.  You bet.
3.  The box is opened and the puck lands on whatever number is in the box.

Oh, I forgot!  They could lie about what's in the box.

Never mind..........
