We all know that longer u play -- more chances to get in trouble. But...

Let's say your goal is to make 50 units. Let's say u can make them in 90 minutes. Maybe more maybe less, i am just talking about some period of time u wanna play to achieve your goal.

So....
--You can play 90 minutes, then call it a day.
--You can play 30 minutes, make a break for 30 minutes then come back and so on
--you can play 30 minutes in a morning, then 30 in an afternoon, then 30 in  an evening

u can divide and spread this period time different ways. Any idea, what is the best way to reduce possibility of screw-up? From your experience? any ideas?

thank u

There's only one reason for this: You're playing a losing system, and the longer you play, the bigger chance you have of losing. Ask yourself this: Why can the casino play as long as they want and never worry? Because they have the edge and you don't.

So in answer to your question, you can't trick the fact you don't have the edge by splitting up the times. If you can really make 50 units every time you play for 90min, you have the edge and can play forever. If its true you make 50 units sometimes and sometimes you lose, no amount of changing your playing times will make any difference.

why, if u have the edge u can lose sometimes too. U can lose more or less.

Of course you can lose sometimes, depending on how big your edge is. But if you just keep playing, you will always be ahead because its impossible for you not to be. Its impossible for a casino to be behind in gaming revenues in the long run. Casinos get into trouble when the rest of their operation costs more than they make in gaming.

Playing 90min or smaller sessions of 30min makes no difference, if you're going to win you'll win. Or lose.

Play very short sessions. Longer play changes our psychology.

When you come at the table you are scarred like you're sitting by Hannibal Lecter. But after 90 minutes of play you are brave like Mel Gibson in Braveheart.... That's how the addiction becomes real.

Play till a short goal. Life is not short in gambling. Short can only be the time to lose the bankroll. Have a low or no progression system, take the profit as it comes and go for a break till you are cold headed again.

If you win more than you lose then leave when you're ahead.  Don't set a time limit.

If you're not sure then set both a win and loss limit.
