Mr J

I was playing yesterday, I started talking to this guy next to me. Lets say I have three chips, dollar chips. I put $1 on the 19/22 split, $1 on the 20/23 split and $1 on the 21/24 split. Is there a difference if I put all three dollars on that double street instead? This is what the guy says >>> If the DS hits, I get $15 and still have *THREE* chips. Ok, lets say a split hits. 17 minus the other two chips and I have the same $15 BUT I have one chip, not 3. WTF? lol This is what I deal with. Ken

Fripper

Hehe this sounds weird. But I thought about and you are right, I think. Hard to say =D This could be some advantage for us or the wheel.

Mr J

lol, I know. I had to think about it as well. It drove me nuts for like 10 minutes.  Ken

Ken,

No  difference. Just a simpler way  to bet those  6 numbers  as  a  double  street bet with 3  units. :ok:
You will always  be left with 18 units  either way.

As I have mentioned to you once before when I am betting  my 22 action number series comprised of 3  dbl streets and 1  Quad Each Dbl street  3 and 2 on the Quad.

N.D.

Mr J

lol, Yep, its the overall 18, either way. I'm telling ya, I was tired as hell listening to this guy and he was making sense.  :girl_wacko: Ken

Spike!

If the DS hits, I get $15>>

He phrased it wrong. You don't 'get' $15, you win $17 on one and win $15 on the other. Its a duh situation, but it is confusing. Its like I say 20 times a week, in roulette there is no 'better' bet, they're all equal. If somebody says the inside is better than the outside, they don't understand the game.

Mr J

Correct, no better bet. I even catch the DEALER screwing up. Maybe I want to bet the 35/36 split. I give him $20 to put on it. Sometimes he/she will put $10 on each number and tell me I'll get paid more if it hits. WTF? I see bettors make that mistake all the time with the zeros. Ken

Spike!

The biggest mistake they make with the zeros is betting them on every spin. If they had a brain they would see that all they ever win is the money they previously bet on the zeros. They just get their money back is all they're doing. Yet on the airball they hoot and holler and jump around when the zero hits, like they just hit the jackpot. Idiots..

Nathan Detroit

It`s really funny  how  some  of those cats are betting on the zeros . Any  number  not included in your bet is a potential  hazard to the bankroll not just the 0/00.Then WHY the   zeros ??

No wonder at the Monte Carlo ( Monaco) casino  the color of the 0 has been changed to  another shade . More like a beige brown hue.

At another board we  put the  heat on a  guy who claimed he played on a nighly basis  at Monte Carlo Casino  but could not describe the color of the  0  there..

Mr J

There is a poster at GG who says the DS is a better bet. I'm not rippin the guy, I did think this was a good thread/question.  Ken

Nathan Detroit

Ken ,

I did see that post by "P'.He is  wrong!

Placing 3  units on a  Double  street will give  a  win of 15 plus 3  of your own units returned = 18.

One unit on a  split retuns  17 plus  your own 1  unit = 18.

Those  basics should  be  mandatory  knowledge for  every roulette player.  :ok:

It was Galeb if my memory serves me right, and it is not that he -COULD NOT-describe color of the zero--but he refused unswering some childish questionaires--after his posting of visiting MC-What is the color of the zero there-----what other casinos are there---If he did not know color of the zero-couldn't he find it on the net,
AS YOU DID,and unswer your question.

Mr J

So what color is it? I assume its not green, kind of a trick question? If he went often, he should of known. Ken

Nathan have unswered in his post.

Just for the record:This  gentleman   Galeb was in Monte Carlo recently and  if asked  he  would  know the color of the zero  at the Monte Carlo Casino. He had answered  all  my questions  posed to him  in regard to availability of drinks and dress code.

This cat`s name  was  the self styled  " ROULETTE KING ".  Claiming to have won habout  2.3 million EUROS during 2006.  His  down fall came  early 2007 when the  casino  devised  some  counter measures. He went belly up and  found himself relegated  playing low  minimums  at on-line  casinos instead  the usual 2,000 Euros  at one spin  covering about 17 pre-determined  numbers.

What surprises me is  that this  roulette king  never showed up  at this  board .

HAPPY WINNINGS!!!
