Losing at roulette has nothing to do with the actual numbers on the wheel, or how many pockets there are. You could have a wheel with A,B,C,D... etc and you'd still lose.

every time i go to the casino i expect to win. if you think you can not win i would not play. its just a matter of picking the right numbers. forget about all bets except the single numbers and splits. the more you play the better you get at picking the right numbers. no systems. just a feeling what number is going to play.

Because it's the Devil's Wheel and all the numbers add up to 666, didn't you know that?  and it's the Devil's Wheel because someone is going to end up in a mental institution spinning a toy roulette wheel over and over, frothing at the mouth and saying "there must be a solution! there must be a solution!" (hope not me, LOL!)  and it's the Devil's Wheel because it makes everyone insane-- insanity-- doing the same thing over and over again and getting the same results, hoping for different results.  and it's the Devil's Wheel because so much money is lost to it and so much time is wasted trying to figure out how to beat it.  that's why it is "The Devil's Wheel."

What is it with the Devil stuff? I'm guessing you're about 16 or 17, a lot of kids are into that stuff, it's all about being a rebel and trying to shock. You grow out of it eventually.

'666' has nothing to do with the devil, but the number of the beast. Never gets any other mention in the book of revelations.
Here's something i found:

While many Bible have footnotes saying the number translated from the original Greek could be 616, experts say new photographic evidence of an ancient fragment of papyrus from Revelation indeed indicates the number is indeed 616, instead of 666.

Scholars in England have been using modern technology to scour some 400,000 bits of papyri which were originally discovered in 1895 at a dump outside the ancient Egyptian city of Oxyrhynchus. Many of the sections have been damaged and discolored, but an imaging process is shedding new light on the sacred text, believed to have originally been penned by John, one of Jesus' 12 apostles.

"This is a very nice piece to find," Ellen Aitken, a professor of early Christian history at McGill University, told Canada's National Post. "Scholars have argued for a long time over this, and it now seems that 616 was the original number of the beast."

If you add all the numbers from 616 together, you get 6+1+6 = 13. Unlucky for some.
It's amazing how the brain is capable of spotting patterns.  

On a side note, I think herb6 may have something to do with the devil. He is always carrying that trident around with him.

Take a look at Leonardo Da Vinci's Last Supper. Then take a look at the guy at the right from Jesus, at what is he pointing at?

He is pointing at a roulette marquee (out of the painting) and saying with great sorrow: oh my god!!! 25 again!! I told you we should have bet it!!!!!
