Hi, I am new to roulette and am pretty poor when it comes to statistics.  Nevertheless, here is my first attempt at a system for beating roulette lol I 'bet' you have never heard anyone say that before!

I have tested manually for 100 spins and had a small profit which was expected.  However I do not know how to do thousands of spins so maybe someone can test it for me.  It works as follows:

Put one chip on red and one chip on black of smallest value to generate five free spins (as long as you don't land on zero of course)

If any of the first five spins has a repeat number then quit and go to a different casino and start again.  e. g.  2,12,34,15,12

If however you get five unique numbers, e. g.  2,10,13,22,35 then place 1 unit on each for your first bet.  if win you get a 31 profit, if lose then repeat bet on same five numbers, if win 26 profit, if lose then repeat bet on same five numbers for 21 profit, if lose then repeat bet on same five numbers, but this time with value 2 units on each for 47 profit, lastly 2 units on each for 37 profit.  If lose five bets in a row then just take 35 loss.

So for example, first five spins are 2,13,14,21,34, so you would bet one unit each on 2,13,14,21,34.  if win you take profit and go to a different casino.  if not then repeat bet on same five numbers (do not bet on any of the numbers after the first five numbers, eg numbers generated on spins 6,7,8,9,10)

After any win go to a different casino.  The reason I think it has potential is because overall I think that 60 per cent of the time you win and 40 per cent of the time you lose.  That is not to say that after the first ten cycles you would have won 6 and lost 4, you could lose the first ten in a row!, but I believe it evens out over time.  For example after 50 cycles I was 31 wins against 19 losses, and after 100 cycles I was 59 wins against 41 losses.  The average win of 32 multiplied by six should be a little higher than the loss of 35 multiplied by four.

The tricky thing is I am having to do this all manually and cannot do lots of rng because after 6 to 10 spins it's important to quit out and start a new.  If you carry on then the sequence will be broken and the belief that a set of ten numbers will only be completely unique 30 percent of the time will be broken.  If that makes any sense lol

I know it's a poor attempt but it is my first one, and I am unemployed and have nothing else to do all day except mess about on the computer.  It's better than watching daytime soaps or answering phone calls from telesales people.

Lastly, I thought I'd better say that if anyone reading this does try this poor system and loses lots of money then don't blame me, I never said it would work, it's just a theory (poor one at that) lol

p. s.  I hope my excessive use of lol did not grate too much, but I'm a happy, cheery sort of fellow lol

I asked someone once what is the best way of playing roulette? He said go along to a casino with a pony and ask a friend to hold it for you and back you up.   I said to him 'don't be ridiculous, that would never work! You wouldn't even get through the front door without the pony excrementing all over the place!' lol

That was before I knew a 'pony' was slang for money lol

Testing the system worked initially and I got excited, until such time that it wiped out the bankroll after applying progression to my bets.

You do not apply progression or it does wipe out your bankroll.  It is always ten spins max then quit out.  The bets are always if you get 5 unique numbers in a row then first bet is 1 1 1 1 1, second bet is 1 1 1 1 1, third bet is 1 1 1 1 1, fourth bet is 2 2 2 2 2 and fifth bet is 2 2 2 2 2.  You never go any higher.  i played 30 cycles of ten today.  Won first 8 and was way up, but then the losses crept in.  It ended up 15 wins and 15 losses, so I was slightly down, but the idea is it evens out over time at a 60 win to 40 loss.  Theoretically after 10,000 spins it should be 6,000 wins against 4,000 losses with each win averaging 32 and each loss being 35.  What order they come in though is uncertain.  The first 4,000 could be losses and you would be in trouble unless you had a big br lol
