how many units?

I got question and I interested what everyone think here. How many units are you happy winning from casino. How you think about this has big factor in if you can win regular at casino. Many time for me if I am winning 5 units. then I stop playing and am very happy with winnings because I do what I set out for doing. There are many differing kind of players. when I first go to casino many years ago I get small change from my pocket and try and win with that so I not have to go into big notes. It was stupid because many time I win first few bets but not happy with small win. then my luck change and I go into big notes and my luck change and I lose everything. haha. one thing that proving then is I had no real good MM strategy and was tightfist thinking I could get away with it. It really important that you have very good MM way for betting and stick to it. Maybe you thinking that if you go in casino with $200 that you not want to lose it very quickly and so spread it out but then you at risk of exposure. that is why you need good bet selection and one reason why I not like the negative progression because for me that mean your bet selection is rubbish. Myself I go with 10 units. and looking to make between 25 and 50 % profit. sometime if I am on good winning run I will let the bet ride. If I am up 40% and have bet on the table and it trending. then I have 40% in my pocket. I might as well let it ride on the table and go for bust. many time it come. If not coming. so what I still got the casino money in my pocket. I am not sure why it is. but for me it seem sensible to never chase the loss and never throw more money down when the luck not really there and yet I see so many other people do excactly that. The greed is the casino number 1 friend. Everyone say the casino just gambling and some casino member think I am crazy sitting in casino with my charts and taking game serious. but I am sitting there relax with drink and playing my game while they are doing the crazy gambling. for regular return at gambling you need professional attitude. I treat it as my job and because other people have day job maybe they thinking casino just fun and no problem. but I can not imagine working all day and then going casino and losing my wages is fun. because casino is my source of income I have to take it very serious.

I would be terribly happy if I could win $100, on average, per day for a 30 day period.  I doubt I would increase my bets.  I don't do well above $5 bets.

Charting is good.  People laugh and make fun of you until you win and then they want to piggy back your bets.  Sure, they win a hundred and go tell their buddies how smart "they" are; not a word for you.

I'd rather sit in my office and pet my dog.  I've broken her from asking dumb questions.

Funny that you say that TwoCatSam, but remember that the most people are there just for a good night out.
Its true they make fun of you and if you say you make pretty good money out of ass well the dont stop hassling you.......so lame.

But with €100 a day I'm happy, playing only small bets.

It usually takes me 1 to 1.5 hours to get to the casino and spend 3 to 5 hours there so I'm looking for at least a 10 unit profit on average per hour.

For me there is one visit and 3 units profit.

The issue here is that i cant see how you can overcome this if you are going to win consitantly more then you lose:

Win more
Break even more
Hit loss limit less

At the moment, I'm making 3 to 5 units a session, because I went through phase of losing all my money, by not being disciplined. This is a way of punishing myself, and getting my control back. Not being too greedy. So far I havent had a losing session and have built 60 units. I'm aiming to build a bankroll this way and then increase my stakes. Start with something I know I can acheive and build from there.
