How many groups of 12 can 36 numbers be divided into?  I can't find an answer on google.  So we already have dozens and columns; now I am trying to graph out every possible way the 36 numbers can be broken into unique groups of 12, and then into as many groups of 3 groups of 12 as possible.  Thanks everybody.

Even if someone could just give me a clue as to where I should look.  Which branch of mathematics, for example.  Anything I could type into google to find the equation I need.

Permutations and combinations, or combinatorics.

OK, so just the amount of possible combinations of 36 numbers into groups of 12 is already 1,251,677,700.  So much for that idea.  Thanks Mike for the lead.

I just have to say that my mind is reeling from thinking about these numbers, I mean over a billion possible dozens on the wheel?  And that's before splitting them into groups of 3 dozens; I don't think there is even a big enough calculator to do that.  What a world...

Birdhands don`t worry.Every group of 12 numbers have the same features as the normal dozens. So your search will led you to nothing.Study random rows of dozens and you learn the basic features of such a row .Every dozen will on average fall in three spins.I wager on dozens or columns after one has not fallen in 12 spins and after a repeater of 4 spins. There is one special dozen of 12 random numbers. As known after 36 spins on average 12 numbers has not fallen. This special dozen hasnot fallen in about 36 spins. This is very special. You can successful wager even with progression on these 12 numbers. If you track more than 36 spins you will find much of these special dozens. You have never wait for a long time.
