What  profit should  one   aim for with a  $ 3, 000.-- bankroll ?

What loss limit  would  be  acceptable  relative to this bankroll ?.

B & M casinos, regulation  roulette wheels  , live  croupiers..

HAPPY WINNINGS!!!

Mr J

Dont forget, this is all based on opinion.

Myself, around $500 net per visit. The loss limit? The entire 3K, f**k it. I never understood this.....if a persons loss limit is 2K, then dont walk in with 3K.

This is a great question and the heart of money management.

I can't help folks with Roulette - I just gamble for free drinks at the Roulette tables.

Black Jack is different - I never bring more than $200 for the night - and no ATM cards either.

My goal is to win $200 and take my starting bankroll out - I cash out at $400 and put my original $200 in my wallet where it belongs.

Then the rest of the night I get more aggressive and play with the casino's money.

I should imagine that if I could find something that works with Roulette I'd do exactly the same thing - play very conservative, hope for good luck and then finish the night using the casino's money.

I don't do this ever night but I can't remember ever leaving the casino with my starting $200 lost....

P.S.

Just replace my $200 with a number you like - but preservation of capital is a top priority of gambling....

i dont see any difference between blackjack and roulette. you can only play the cards you are dealt. no skill in either game.  all blackjack players play the same game. except for the bloke who buys when every body else is sitting. and the dealer would have bust. but instead gets 21,

Black Jack is totally different than Roulette - totally.

Skill actually makes a difference in Black Jack, skill means nothing in Roulette.

But if you bring $3,000 to the casino then you plan to lose $3,000.

I bring just enough to let Lady Luck tell me what kind of a night is in store for me.  I stay at least 1 hour and many times 6+ if luck is on my side.

The winnings, if any, go into our entertainment/vacation fund and never get used for gambling again.

To summarize - I bring enough money to play 1 hour and have a game plan to deal with bad luck and good luck.

If you don't have such a plan you will just blow every dollar you bring with you.....
