dear all,

all of us are in this game in some way or the other, small or big..
it would be interesting to know why we all came into this game and with what mindset ..

it could be because one thought that it is an easy way of making money ?
did we come because of our inherent desire to gamble and win big ?
did some of us enter into this with the view of making this a serious business ? or a casual passion ?
did some of us get in to make ends meet ? pay off a debt ? change our lifestyle ?
do we do it full time ? with higher stakes ? or is it a weekend excitement ?
why did we choose roulette ?
did we come thinking small and then make it big ? or the other way around ?
did we just come across roulette by chance ?
were some of us math students and thought about it as a project ? a la the movie "21"
did we just have extra time, were bored or didnt know what to do ?
do we seriously believe that roulette will make us millionaires ? or are we fighting a "half-believed" losing battle ?
i see mostly men on this forum and no women. so is it a "man" thing ? or do women exist here and elsewhere? do women really only prefer to sit next to the winning guys like the movies portray ?
do some of us feel that extensive training necessary or do they feel that basic knowledge is a good start ? and they just wanna go "try their luck". do people feel that gambling is only about luck or about mathematical and mental preparation meeting up with "regular luck" (as vls puts it, which isnt really "lucky" or "unlucky") ?
do we play fearlessly or are always scared of losing money ?
how important is that money to us, the money we play with ?
what do we do with the money we win (if we do)? roll it back ? or take it out ?
interestingly I have a social psychologist friend who says that about 60% people have at some point fancied the idea of stealing a bank (electronically) or something similar ? and a higher percentage amongst gamblers. is this a downgrade to the original idea (breaking the bank) in a legitimate way ?

whatever the reason may be, there does exist a reason why EACH one came into roulette. would be interesting to know some answers to questions like these and more. would help us discover ourselves to a certain extent I think.
even if people may not answer on the forum cause some answers may be private and sensitive thoughts, it may be important to answer these for ourselves. it helps to know who we are, and probably help us play with more rationale

any views ?

First, I am not in roulette for the money.  If I ever make any money, that would be nice.  I have a grandson in college and he could always use a boost.  That's pie in the sky right there!

I am 61, nearly 62, retired and financially secure.  No worries, unless the US market continues to drop!

I think I'm here because I meet people like you.  (I would name all the people I am here because of, but my feeble mind would forget someone and their feelings might be hurt.  Suffice it to say I'm here because of a bunch of great people!)  How else could I say, "Oh, this guy in India said....." or "This ol' boy down under..."?

I have little to talk about in my life and fewer people to talk with.  I am not a joiner, so my social activities are limited to church and a couple of people Marcia and I go out with to concerts and dinner.  I am an idiot when it comes to sports, and can not hold a conversation with anyone on anything about the subject.  I hear theres a guy named Colby that plays basketball, but that's a cheese to me.  Frankly, I'm boring.  I'm boring me now!

I'm going to paraphrase Jack London here.  He was a great American author around 1900 or so.  Some may have heard of "THE CALL OF THE WILD" and "THE SEA WOLF".  Jack's credo was something like this:  I'd rather be ashes than dust.  I'd rather my spark burn out like a meteor across the sky than to be a sleepy planet.

Jack died before 40 from alcohol.

But he left me those words, I'd rather be ashes than dust.  Well, Jack, from your grave I hear you.  When I'm turning to dust, I hope to die and meet you.  And Hemingway.

Andy, it's the challenge, the quest that drives me.  This thing we do--well, we may be laughed at for doing it.  Or ridiculed.  The church folk go tsk tsk when on-line gambling is mentioned.  Who cares?  When something excites this old geezer enough to get him out of bed at six in the morning to study, it's a good thing.  Better than lying there waiting to die.

Some retired people do just that; they sit down, fold their hands, wait to die--to turn to dust.  Nope!  Not me!

So my reasons are psychological for being here; not financial.

Thanks for asking.

For the forum: Having previously been cheated by sellers. I am here in the forum of vls to give the scammers hard time. This is my revenge.

For roulette: I am hooked on the game of roulette to earn money. Tthanks mr. twocatsam by your explanation, you are one among many for not being in roulette for the dollars. The playing majority are here to discover a system that will help improve our quality of life. It means it drives by the money.

I have no shame to admit. Since my beginnings as player my dream has been to find a way to beat the Roulete, travel, take each casino as ATM to cover my expenses and living the good life. I would like to give casinos hard time by using legal system not cell phone cheats for them to kick me after use, and also I want to share the systems for others to experience. It makes no cost to share system. To tell other never takes the ability to build money, it can always be bet any legal system anywhere then why not share?

I do not see the roulette study as a waste of time, when we exchanged our dialogues in public then it is leaving a legacy to others to continue building. It would be the maximum leave a method already in place, but even with our ideas we may help the people who reads.

Actually we are the modern scholars of the game of roulette!

Those who want to stay and make the system to them only in greed do not have the opportunity to share and live the community discussion (albeit is virtually as the community is using the Internet) .

"what is the calling ?" It hooked me by a friend which I appreciate all the life. As a player he get always compulsive, for many years has been in misery and only now he is recovering. No more bets to him. I have a promise too: I do not happen to experience the same thing!

I play with little money now and always keep the job to get food. Never make mistake to think casino makes you rich, but in myself I know it can build a better life with more money at the time you beat the game.

My goal is to win the game of roulette, leave a legacy of system to help the people never buy system from bad persons and give it hard to scammers.

I hope I have not bored with all this. Thank you for your reading.

I read every word of it.  Now that you mention it, going to England and paying for it at the roulette table does peak my interest.

Sam, very nice to see you actually play because you like it and not for the money  :)
Wannawin, I can find myself in most of your points too.

I'm in the game because:

* People / friends laugh when I say I try to beat roulette, they say that it can't be done. But I see it different, I see it as a challenge. And we need a challenge, without a challenge we would fail.
* The forum is nice, all people with the same interest helping eachother.
* Nice to pastime
* And offcoure make some good money out of it.

I don't try to make a living out of it, I see it as a hobby.

Thats my 2cc

mmmm, very interesting posts gents.

I would say that I was from the start in it for the prospect of winning large amounts of money. Yeah baby I've been dreaming of that Villa in Spain, that little farm in New Zealand, that ranch in Australia, yadidadido!

Well didn't quite work out that way lolol. Actually ended up loosing money after the initial lucky wins. And dare I say it ....... started to become an addiction!

Well luckily I have changed my addiction from actual playing to testing. So now my addiction is purely testing roulette playing methods! Halleluja! When I do eventually find that perfect method of play I'll return to the tables once again! lolol. ..........And buy that ranch in Oz, that small farm in NZ and that Villa in Spain! But for now I'll just keep testing......

MXkid77

Initially I got scammed into it, by searching on the internet, which led me to develop a "big picture", which as far as the infrastructure goes is almost there.

I would'nt say I am addicted "yet", but there is definately the thrill element which is appealing.

The big picture,

Living in South Africa, I have got the various exchange rates in my favour when I win. The idea, was to set up 70 Casino accounts (of which I have done 43 so far). Use the intial winnings to finance the rest of them, so hopefully only one decent deposit to start off with. Play 10 Casino's a day for 30 mins maximum (unless the target is reached before 30 mins) . Profit between 20 - 30 units per casino. In essence, instead of milking one or two daily, I would be milking a specific casino once a week. Therfore, flying in under the radar......

This is what everything will hopefully look like when the big picture comes together.

Week 1: (70 Casino's) $20 x 70= $1400.00
Week 2: (70 Casino's) $20 x 70= $1400.00
Week 3: (70 Casino's) $20 x 70= $1400.00
Week 4: (70 Casino's) $20 x 70= $1400.00
                                  Total = $4800.00 X 7.65    R36720.00 (2.5 times what I currently earn full time job)
Or whether it be Euoro's or Pounds            X 11.36  R54528.00 (3.6 times)
                                                          X 14.23  R68304.00  (4.5 times)

Why do I need to do this? so I can get out of SA, and set up my twin 1 & 1/2 year old daughters for life....

How far am i.........  getting closer to the system that will help me easily achieve the $20.  per casino.

Thanks to this forum and the members for all thier idea's and hard work.. I would not be anywhere near where I am if it was'nt for this forum, so thanks a mil guys, and hopefully one day I will be able to contribute a winning formula for everyone to use.

Thanks guys.... ;)

Let me tell you one thing though, in the month and a bit that I have been on this forum, my head is absolutely spinning, I have been playing catch up every night and reading every thread. I honesestly have a million systems bouncing around in my head....... might be a good thing

Hey guys, good to hear all your individual cases. I guess for myself, its the challenge, to beat the game, and the casino's however small the profit. Also its a hobby. I used to be an amateur boxer / kickboxer, and I needed something to replace the adrenaline rush you get when you compete. Roulette definately achieves that when you bet for real. Without the physical pain.

Also the money. I would love to be a pro. Realistically though, to make money from something you enjoy is great.

At the moment, I am playing Lw system which I got from reading all Victor / Lanky's posts. This system is working for me for real man!! and I thank these guys a lot.

Look forward to hearing from the rest of you.
