Here is a conversation about session peaks I think fits perfectly at this section.

Enjoy.

Silvana:
Session Peaks' Topic is something I've ever thought about. Surely it has happened to you. If I count every roulette session I played, I believe in around 95% of them I exceeded my initial balance during some moment.

Now, Let's suppose I had finish the session with positive balance that 95% of the times; I believe I would already have a new house, a car and even a dog with pedigree.

If I go with 100 units, always playing with moderation and without going "crazy" , say betting 6 to 10 units per hand covering enough felt (not playing just 6 straight-up numbers ), the possibility for me to reach 101 units is higher than the possibility of reaching 0, and when I'm at 101, the possibility to reach 102 with 101 units is higher than the one for me to reach 0.

I'm experiencing this: with 100 units I can be oscillating all night long until either I get caught by "craziness" and I bet it all (human-error), or I leave the table with the same I brought.

Yesterday I counted how many times I passed a 100-unit balance during the night and they were 23 times, And what happened next?, I left the table with the same.

This means if I had 23 bankrolls of 100 units each and end the session when my balance was higher than the initial one, I would have gone with +23 units won as a minimum.

Gamabi:
If each one of us gives each chip a mental value of $100 or more, then surely we would have more wins, because we'd NEVER allow ourselves to lose everything we already won, and even less to allow us to lose the whole bankroll.

This is the conduct of the player who really sees this as a business.

If we take roulette simply as a game, then this mentality ends up annihilating all of our bankrolls, our conduct and in several instances it can annihilate a person fully.

It is obvious casinos give us chips because they do not represent our money.

They just represent pretty colorful chips and nothing more. If we had actual bills in our hand instead of chips, much more people would leave the table still with won bills and not with losses, this is something casinos know pretty damn right.

For this reason it is imperative to give the chips a mental cash-value -much higher than the actual one- to each chip we win. In the moment we take our chips to cash them, we may not see taking ourselves from the table so pretty, but when those chips are turned into real hard cash, then at that time we realize we did very good by leaving the table before losing what we already won.

Daniel:
I agree with you with the occurrence that at some time of the night I'm winning enough to call it a day; but if I continue, then it goes down and I can even lose it all. So, what is left for me to do?

Simple: I buy-in for 100 units and play till I'm winning 30-40-50-70 o close to 100 ( what I did before was going with the goal of not leaving the table until I win +100 ).

When I reach any of those amounts in the plus, then I cash-in those won units.
I then start a new session fresh with a 100-unit bankroll and repeat the cycle.

When I realize, I have already cashed-in 5 to 10 times with certain amount won, so I sum them and when I have a nice amount, I leave.

In the past, what I did was to always try to pass +100 in a row, but that did cost more and several times I was almost at it, i.e. +99 and I never could pass [that self-imposed barrier, to finally go to the cashier], going down again.

Winning 40, 50 or 70 chips isn't the same than going for +100 at once.

It is very advisable to cash those chips every once in a while.

Silvana:
Daniel, I do the same. I think in this simple act lies the key to win...

I say it because I have tried plenty of systems and they all win and lose. So, if I play what I consider within certain parameters (not playing "crazy", to back enough felt using locations with enough coverage; which although not winners per se allow room to oscillate), if I made that 100 times per session , then it would be profitable, but the issue is we don't perform the same when starting fresh for a session than after two hours... it is as if lack of control flows as the spins go by and you stay more time in the game, therefore conduct is king.

Yes I know I'm not making an amazing discovery or anything like that, but I can say at a time we can win... And please notice, I'm also not saying: "I'll make myself a millionaire", nope, I'm simply saying if I go with 500 I can leave with 510, without risking heavily, covering the numbers with plenty of combinations and fundamentally changing my game constantly. Not getting stuck at "Low must come because there are already 18 high"... I couldn't care less about it.

Hope this helps.

I really enjoyed that...I use the same principles with the 4 or 6 point Divisor Plan.

With Me it is not how much I win that Matters Its How much I don't Lose That Counts.
