I tried to put in a trouble ticket but when I got to the end where I saw"

"Type this code number  in the box below"

all I see is a box with a red X in it.

What do you see?

I had to reformat my drives and reinstall all my crap so my system (XP SP3) may not be fully tweaked as I do see places where a picture is posted but replaced with the Red X on some sites.  Usually selecting "show picture" cures it.  Not this time.

I had an error message after re-installing XP.

Trouble was that I hadn't run the registration file
again.  If you can find it and run it all should be OK.

Or if you backed-up the registry....restore it.

The good folks at RX recently informed me the trouble is fixed. A problem when they changed servers.

My previous reg. wouldn't work due to changes in hardware (I replaced a drive).

How I dislike software that registers based
on your hardware profile at the time of the
original install.

I thought only B Gates did that sort of thing.

Let us hope these folks never call it quits, otherwise we will all be up the creek w/o a paddle.

I know the reg. thing can be defeated.  Every piece of software that uses same has been.  But since I do pay for all my shareware and wish to keep fine folks like this in business I have never investigated that angle.
