Hey guys.  I admit I began gambling seriously back in March, starting with Blackjack and now Roulette.  I've used the systems on here with success (not the lottery, but still good wins).  It may be being somewhat a novice, but there's always that fear that you're going to have the worst runs ever.  Have any of you experienced this?

Many times.  Once I was rakin' it in with the VLS Lw Methodology and went to $25.00 bets.  Lost my brain and my bankroll in one fell swipe.

If you do not start with a bit of apprehension, even after years of playing, then the self-preservation portion of your psyche isn't working as it should.

If it is there but latent and it kicks in, maybe full-force, when you approach a table then maybe you should stand around a bit and observe first.  Listen to the 'vibes' you get, they may be telling you this isn't your table and to try another one.

To overcome normal 'fear' the best advice is to practice, practice, practice (preferably using actuals) so you know what the worst-case scenario is and you can spot a potential one coming.  You should have a plan for that even if it is just quitting and coloring-up.  There is always another table and another day.

Being a bit nervous is good.  It should make you cautious.

The worst case of nerves or fear come when a normal $5 bettor steps up to a $25 table or starts betting amounts s/he hasn't done before at a regular table.  It is mostly a case of being out of your league (for the first time or two) and is very normal.  Just a mental thing. You'll easily overcome that with frequency.

Keep winning.

never gamb;le more then you can afford to lose.  when i leave the casino losing or winning  i know the rent is paid and the fridge is full.  also if you are desperate to win you can be sure you will lose. i am relaxed when i am playing. i think this is half the battle.
