How do we play with Baccarat Tournument Rules.

Here is some rules I find over at GG that a member post.

1. All standard Baccarat rules apply, unless otherwise specified herein. However, the State reserves the right to investigate any complaints and disputes regarding tournament, promotion and drawings..Such disputes and complaints will be resolved in accordance with the State Gaming control Act and Gaming Commission Regulation.

2. There is no entry fee for participating in the $100K Mini Baccarat Tournament..
Participant is limited to invited guest only. Entrants must meet the following criteria: $300 Average Daily Theo over the last 12 month OR $10K Loss within the last six month.

3. Players will recieve $25K in tournament chips at the beginning of each round. Tournament chips have no cash value and are collected when the player losses or leaves the table or at the end of the twenty-five hands of play

4. Each player shall report to his or her assigned table at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. If the player is late for the start of the game, $500 will be taken from the late player for each of up to five missed hands. After the fifth hand and before the sixth hand begins, if the player has not reported to their assigned table, the player shall be disqualified. No refund will be given.

5. The number of players to advance from each table will be dependent on the number of total entrance.

6. Players will not be allowed to bet on another player box

7. Players must make a wager on each hand. Players mayno wager bank and player simultaneously. A player may not make a tie bet in lieu of bank or player. After the wager is made and finalized by the dealer, it cannot be moved or changed. The shoe may not be passed.

8. Every session will consist of 25 hands with a count down after the 2oth hand only

9. A rotation marker will be used to indicate the betting order. The opening bet start with seat #1

10. Translator will be provided upon request. During each game, no conversing in any language other than English will be permitted unless translated through casino host. Any player who is observed being coached by outside spectator or other players may be disqualified

11. Players must keep their chips in full view, in front of them, and seperated by denominations during the tournament. Chips may not be removed from table, exchanged, borrowed or loan between players.

12. Players have 30 seconds to place bets in the First, Re-buy, Second and semi-final Rounds. Players have one minute to place bets in the Final Round.

13. There will be no commissions on bets

14. ALL BANK, and PLAYER BET MUST BE IN INCREMENT OF $500

15. BETTING LIMITS:

* iN THE fIRST ROUND, THE rE-BUY AND THE sECOND rOUND, THE MINIMUM BET IS $500 AND THE MAXIMUM IS $5k ON ALL BETS OF BANKER AND PLAYER

* In the Semi-Final Round the minimum is $500 and the maximum bet is $10K on all banker and player

* In the Final Round the minimum is $500 and the maximum bet is $15K on all banker and player

* The minimum bet is$500 and the maximum bet is $1000 on all TIE bets in all rounds and all hands played

16. ON THE 25TH AND FINAL HAND IN EACH ROUND PLAYERS CAN BET UP TO TWO TIMES THE MAXIMUM BETTING LIMIT FOR THAT ROUND ON PLAYER OR BANKER BETS

17. ONCE THE PLAYER IS ELIMINATED FROM PLAY, THEIR SEAT MUST BE VACATED

18. At the end of each session, all remaining players must stay seated while their chips are counted and verified by one of the tournament judges. The player must initial the assignment
sheet

19. In each session, there will be two secret bets that maybe played on any hands

* A PLAYER MAY NOT WAGER OVER THE TABLE LIMIT UNTIL THE 25TH HAND

* NO SECRET BETS CAN BE USED ON tIE HAND

* ALL SECRET BETS MUST BE CIRCLED PLAYER OR BANKER. ALL SECRET BETS AMOUNT WILL BE VERIFIED

* PLAYERS WILL HAVE ONE MINUTE TO PLACE A SECRET BET

20.In the event of a tie in any session between two or more participants, a single hand of final elimination will be played to determined the winner, using the secret bets.

* No Tie bet will be allowed in the final elimination

* In the event of a tie in any session between two or more participant with no money remaining, each player will be given $5K in chips with three hands to play with one secret bets

20. Prize Breakdown is as follows:

1st Place - $50K
2nd Place -$25K
3rd Place- $15K
4th Place- $5K
5th Place-$3K
6th Place-$2K

21. All income taxes on any cash prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners and all taken out of award winnings of $600 or more. All winners must produce a valid, unexpired photo ID acceptable by the casino and be a member of player's club

21. Disruptive participants maybe ejected from the tournament at the discretion of the judge


I have not play a Tournument this is the first time for me to see the rules for a tournument.

Secret bet? Never heard of that one.
Who qualifies as the winner? The one with the most money I'm guessing?
In some Asian tournaments it's based on winning percentage so if you place one big bet and win, you're a good chance.

Says $300 entry on this but on the terms and conditions pdf says it's $10000 - high rollers only perhaps?

Seems poker tournaments are the most popular these days, they have regular and frequent games whereas Bac and Roulette tournament are once maybe twice a year here in Australia. I can't find anything on the sites of our major casinos.
