Negative here !   [smiley=grin.gif]

It is only negative until it puts you in profit, [highlight]if[/highlight] you know what i mean... (and i don´t mean one-hit-takes-all)

The casino has the edge, you have the progression... ask Ken !  [smiley=happy.gif]

>>> A mix will do the trick, also. It´s all a question of what you are playing ... what event(s), and how you play to get there...

I myself have used an inter-session unit value rise, but still consider that positive progression. :)

Hi comrade VLS,

It all depends upon the inner rhythm of your system. If it has some propensity to produce wins in cluster then a positive progression will crtainly do the job (look at this idea nolinks://vlsroulette.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1204058539/8#8 ) as it fits the bill perfectly.

A negative progression is nothing more than a flat betting scheme in a disguised form, it is just at the end you know what's the average flat bet amount you used.

Difference being that you can be in profit using negative progression, as opposed to flat betting !  [smiley=happy.gif]

It is just an illusion as you can be in profit too by using a flat bet amount as opposed to a negative progression. Remember, it's a binary game.

That´s a valid point, i should have expressed myself better.

I meant to say that some systems can make use of the negative progression to stay positive, while flat betting would cause them to lose.  (Still, the opposite remains true...)

I understood your point well, as i thought of it right after i posted the above... oh, well, live and learn.

What i find interesting when we use a flat bet amount is that we can recover more easily if the swing takes more time to reverse its direction if it was negative of course. Over the long term, negative prog. or not it does not change anything in terms of getting more hits. The real challenge is to find a bet selection which delivers a positive outcome. If we could find one then a progression would just add ice on the cake. But to date i have not any bet selection to propose that would deliver a positive outcome. All we can do is hope that our method of the moment will give us a positive result but if it occurs you can be sure it is because of luck nothing else.
