The bets are equal, that's true but the swing are not. You will experience larger swing betting on a number than betting on any even chances. In other words, you will need a bigger bankroll.

In roulette, all the bets except 1-2-3-0 are equal to the EC's, so why bother betting anything but the EC's. And if thats true, why bet them at all when you can play bac, which is faster and has no zero's to slow you down..

Why you drink normal Coke, when you can drink diet Coke? Do you need list of the advantages?
I think the reason is the same... most of the people here do love roulette, not baccarat.

Whats to love about roulette? Its slow, its crowded, it has a huge house edge. No thanks. If roulette distilled down to its essence is an EC game, play bac where its twice as fast and has a 1% house edge.

I like that it's slow. That gives me time to check the bet(s).

True, I don't like it when it's too crowded.

I win, so I don't mind the perceived odds.

I prefer Roulette to any card game, with the possible exception of Bridge.

Don't like betting B/R, O/E, H/L much, either.
Also, I have always felt "lucky" with Roulette.

Even the first time I saw a roulette wheel. Our high school math teacher tried to teach us that the house always won by giving us a roulette session. He didn't get his proof because me and two others made more than all the others lost.
