Hi Kelly and all.
Thanks for sharing.

Here i start learning basics step by step because there is so many new terms to learn and practice on.
First out is to try to find common patterns using a very basic and easy method.

Now if some one want to try this and don't have a wheel at home, then i think you can practice on an air ball roulette wheel on any public internet site.

Kelly wrote this about the dealers release point of the ball:

QuoteSome people uses the 3 number sector below the dealers hand as reference SECTOR instead of number because obviously there are some handmovement when the ball is thrown. Because of different wheel speeds and scatter it doesn`t really matter wether you are 1 - 2 numbers wrong. Using the first diamond or 1 full ball revoloution and a diamond near the dealers hand iss asoloutely fine, it won`t make any quality difference in your tracking.

Nice, so i want to test this.

a) I will test to release the ball and use the sector below the dealers hand my hand as reference sector.

Now Kelly wrote this regarding patterns and tracking:

QuoteThe release number is your first reference of the rotor position. You might wanna make a second reference check, like at the 4th ball revoloution. If you gt a wheel at home try to train to spin the wheel with 3 - 3.5 sec. pr revoloution. Note the release number below your hand and again note the number at the same spot at the exact 4th revoloution. Again, note the outcome number and relate the outcome to your 2 first reference numbers. You might wanna divide the wheel into 12 x 3 number sectrs (1 of them is 4 pockets, use the zero sector for this).

You will then be matching:

1. Release sector
2. 4th ball rev sector
3. Outcome sector

Try some 10 - 20 spins and see if you at some wheel speeds has a distinct pattern like;

Release sector =  2
4th ball revoloution sector = 3
Outcome sector = 1

The closer the pattern, the easyer it is to track.

Here i think i will test it with 4 th and 5 th revoloution.
And this is the 12x3 sectors from the wheel layout.
I have memorize 4 of them but will try to learn them all.

1: 32 15 19
2: 4 21 2
3: 25 17 34
4: 6 27 13
5: 36 11 30
6: 8 23 10
7: 5 24 16
8: 33 1 20
9: 14 31 9
10: 22 18 29
11: 7 28 12
12: 35 3 26

Sector 1 above comes with zero.

Quote If you gt a wheel at home try to train to spin the wheel with 3 - 3.5 sec. pr revoloution.

This i don't understand.
This is how i have done it, i put the number ring in motion to rotate with 3,5 to 4 secounds in one cycel and i spin the ball for 8, 9 to 10 revoloutions.
I just have to know that i use my wheel correct for this, then i can post the results.

You must rotate wheel every time in the same speed. Say it be 4 sec - so you rotate, wait when wheel is exactly  4 sec per revolution and then throw ball from 0. After 5 ball revolutions see which number is  on reference point and which is final number . Write all that 20-30 times and look is there the patern.

I also keep this in mind and i quote Kelly again...

QuoteLooks good Lucky.

Lets take a reference spin where we look at the same thing. For easyness, lets say the release point is where the ball leaves the dealers hand, in this case because it is hard to read the numbers at the following spin but he releases the ball from zero which is easy to follow. The wheel is a Joost and belongs to Chris from Berlin.

nolinks://nolinks.roulette-spiel.com/kesselgucker-dvd-jost-no1/

The first spin comes out like this:

Release number = zero
4th crossover number = Black 20
Outcome number =  Black 4

What you do now is put the pencil direct beelow zero at the number in the line of release number and draw an arrow to the far LEFT until your in the 4th cross over line and directly below Black 20. Thats your first arrow.

You then draw an arrow from Black 20 to Black 4 in the outcome line. You also draw a line from zero to Black 4. You should then have 3 arrows and the first pattern.

Your first spin gets the numbers at the end of the arrows 1, 1, 1 the second spins gets 2, 2, 2 the third gets 3, 3, 3 etc.

The wheel is fairly slow so in real life if the majority of all spins weree in that wheel speed category with that dealer, we would probably pick the 5th or 6th ball rev. as reference revoloution because as you see the cross over number would be closer to the release number at these ball revs. and would make an easyer and tighter pattern to book. If you spin your wheel a little faster than the one on the Tube, you will also find that your crossover number comes closer to your release number at the 4th rev.

If using the 5th ball rev. it would look like this:

Release number = zero
5th rev crossover = Black 35
Outcome number = Black 4

The 3 arrows would be much tighter and you would only have to focus on around 1/3 of the wheel.

Before you start your experiments, make sure you are able to spin a reasonable even wheel speed and try to stick to that in the beginning. Play around with the wheel speeds and reference revs. until you have a tight and easy trackable pattern.

Remember you are at this stage educating yourself, so you don`t wanna mix all kind of wheel speeds within your testing because you will lose focus on the connections between the crossovers and the outcomes. I know that is NOT casino conditions, but we will get back to that once you start feeling comfortable with just 1 wheel speed.

Also, try to use roughly the same force when you throw the ball.  Later you will move on to a more advanced stage.

Also, make a good tilt on the wheel.

Cheers Lucky Strike

Kelly

Looking good lucky.  Im in and out fast right now, but i will have a closer look later today. I might dump your data in Scotts software to see wether your   sector size is the best if theres enough data. Also, Pierre recommend playing multiple peaks if they exists. See the drawings with KN4 and KN5 above.  For instance, the KN4 pattern that is connected with certain ball and wheel speeds also gives you a good vis - a - vis (180 degrees) because of a comination several things, like if the ball takes 1 extra or 1 less revoloution the ordinary drop point will be directly opposit the area where you bet. Meaning if the ball takes 11, 12 or 13 revoloutions you will be in the correct area if you got a bet directly across. Don`t hang me on the exact revoloution amounts, i haven`t worked with KN4 since the Cammeghs arrived at the local casino. They sometimes run with between 20 - 25 ball revs. and this method doesn`t work with that many revoloutions.

Hi Kelly and all.
I want to illustrate what you mention above, even if i am not get it all.

So i use 1 dot for release sector.
Then i use 2 dots for 4 th rev.
And i use 3 dots for outcome sector.

This way i can get an visual over patterns.

Hi viktorius,

The first step is to memorize the wheel by heart.

Then yes, get Laurence Scott's material. It has been updated with single-zero wheel players in mind.

Check this link for more info, or contact Laurence himself via the open forum there:

Another good book for the price is "Get the Edge at Roulette" By: Christopher Pawlicki. You can get in on Amazon. Something like 15 bucks. It has enough info to get you started anyway.

Scott's material is very good, but costs money. I wouldn't exactly get it unless it is something that I would seriously want to pursue. But if you are serious about it, then it is worth the money. I'm happy I purchased it. Although he describes the concepts more on a 00 wheel, they will still work on a Single 0 wheel.

Like Marven said though... First step is memorizing the wheel layout.

lucky_strike

The issue with this old method is as Kelly mention that it can apply to 11, 12, 13, 14 rev and with todays wheels there is 20 to 25.

Then again i never skip any-thing so is there an differens? Because if you take Bob Gordons spins they make around 15, 16, 17, 18 and odd spins 8 and 22.

Then the question is if there is an average to find then the read can be done later as that would give the same amount of rev out.

But i think you have to ask Kelly if that would work.

Well i agree what they say above that if you have the money then spend them on Laurance and not at your local casino.

Cheers LS

Do VB players end up cross eyed? -Serious question-
