im begging to beleive that all systems can lose however may be that all systems can be a winnner if we do plenty of research and see what the lowest downfall a system can go then play that particular system on lets say dublin on the play for fun section however they let us also use the live wheel to play with play money.

so record results of system we know the low points for cetain systems the lowest downfall from data

then switch over to real money play and start betting on what you system is.

hope you understand im just thinking of a way of looking at a live betting table without having to wait and wait for a certain 100% bet playing for fun will make you play random fun then  when we see a trigger just switch to real money make +5units then go back to fun again.

FRESH IDEAS

MATTJONO

i have been thinking about progression how it sucks you in. maybe playing like this would be better

typical example is the progression on a repeating dozen/colum. i normally say hay its not repeated in a while and then[smiley=angry.gif] you get cought and abserlutly  HAD as usually tipical gamberler thinking he knows it (even tho in the back of you mind you know that this is a bad idea to keep betting more on a dozen; anyway to the point would it be better to sit down and the roulette table place £5 on any dozen/colum of choice without looking what so ever at what the past results are.

8pm log onto a live table bet £5 on colum 1-12  if win we are up so QUIT for the day +£10.  if lose then completely stop go put a new song on you computer, make a coffee, have a spliff, walk the dog, chill with the wife anyhting just quit for a while because we dont want the -£5 loss to effect us.   30mins later go back online to the casino or even a diffent table casino and place £5 on and colum/dozen of choice if lose chill again if win we are quitting +£5 for the day.

2pm not looking at history spins betting £5 on any 12numbers (win= +£10 quit, lose=chill go to next session)

2.22pm £5 on any 12numbers (win= +£5 quit, lose=chill go to next session)

6pm  £10 on any 12numbers (win=+£10 quit, lose=chill go to next session)

7pm £15 on any12numbers (win= +£10 quit, lose=chill go to next session)

i think this would far better than using a progression staright away we know we can lose this way but will it be better.

Bet columns and dozens...........

Bet the last TWO to have come.  If loss, increase bet x 3 and still bet for same two.  If second loss, multiply bet by three BUT bet the dozen/column that has just beat you twice in a row.  Then look at the other two and bet the one that has hit most recently.  If lose, start over.

Can this system win?

DEALERSIGNATURE

Sure no if you play for long terms. ::)

I'm an advocate of the fact that you have to find a way to win using flat-betting, before you can say you have a winner.

If there is a way to win consistently (and I mean CONSISTENTLY) using a progression, then there must be a way to win consistently using flat-betting.
But the opposite is not necessarily true. If there is a way to win flat-betting on the long run but it does have some occasional dispersion periods (such as advantage play methods), then using progressions can make it fail if we consider limited bankroll and table limits.

So progressive betting is (well, usually) a no go for me. :)

Find a way to win consistently (even slightly) with flat bets, then we can talk.

Marven

i played a system the other day. i would have lost flat betting. on the one dollar table i played a six line. 1.1.1.1.1. 2.2. and so on i won 20 dollars and got bored and went to the five dollar table.  a procession may be the best way to bet. there is a 29 step progression for the six line on this board. for small stakes  its not a bad way to play.

QuoteI was just quoting mat jono, you will never beat roulete with out a progression

I agree and the shorter the progression the better, you just need a good trigger to hit within say 4 steps over 90% of the time, with martingale 1,2,4,8 you only lose 15 if your trigger misses

i think whatever your system is, base it NOT O TABLE LAYOUT, rather on a wheel. if u play dozens better play sectors of 12. columns and dozens and EC like LH, EO, exist just to fool players.

the only EC which is worth study i think is RB, because it is also based on a wheel layout. But u can't play it just like that without looking at the numbers. thats my opionion
