IDEAS for a competition (all members)

I presume ill be trying to suss out roulette for some time now its all a big curving bend of learning how NOT to lose your money.

I was wandering if we could all have some fun in testing systems, D.S, V.B, and all the types of play whatever suits you as a player.

Anyway to the competition part.

I would like all your thoughts on how we could play in a roulette competition together.  we could take into consideration the design/play/leaderboards/funmoney.comp/realmoney.comp/time limits..... e.t.c... 

im not exactly sure what I actually want to do just seeing if its possible to have a bit of fun 'round here in testing systems and learning your money managment skills and how to control yourself because its a COMPETITION.

1) Does this only apply to numbers or is it okay for even money bets?
2) For the members ho wants to be in the competition do they have to tell how they play or can they only post results?

1.I say we can bet on anything you like (whatever makes profit  ::) )
2. keep bets to yourself or share them at the end. whatever.


just not sure how it can be made fairly.

read my posts/challenge thread in the challenge zone.  The competition I held a while back went over fairly well I think.  Maybe that'll give you some ideas.

MATTJONO here is a complete solution.
Well I think it should be kept simple and that the members that do sign up enjoy them self and that makes it easy to write down the rules.

The first level:
a) Sign up to join and enjoy.
b) Post an complete method to join and for every one to enjoy.
c) Show test results for every one to enjoy.

That is a very good start.
I think a test for 1024 trails to begin with because some will pass and some will not.
For does ho pass with there method and test results can move on to next level.

The second level:
a) Qualify to join and enjoy.
c) Show test results for every one to enjoy.

That is also good and let it pass 1024 again and repeat this formula then there will only be the best of the best left to enjoy.

Let me be the first one here and now to sign up and i will join with an method for bias for every one to enjoy and i hope i will pass the first level :thumbsup:

this seems great lucky strike but i think we should have more levels of qualification to the next level.

like we test our systems threw a average session at the casino 2-3 hours.
so maybe 200 spins for LEVEL 1. then you go to level 2 if you still have chips left from the intial balance.

Well, as I figured what would happen, there is no competition platform.

So I'm going to build one.

It will be a cross platform stand alone computer program that you run on your own computer. You will have the option to show results only or the telemetry of each bet. You will be able to run competitions by posting the 300 to 1000 spin tests. The software will have an internal clock that makes you wait a pre set number of seconds before the next spin can happen. When people compete they must get in on it at the start and post within a few minutes of the full competition ending. Time limitations are the way to prevent cheating. You will be able to end a session early and post that. Since everyone will be on the same clock, in real time, nobody will be able to cheat.

The spins will be truly random based on the basic physics of a real wheel. They will be posted as an encrypted list that works from the clipboard through copy/paste. The results will appear in plain to read text. The software will do a basic summation of the players results too.

So you watch for a competition to start. You copy the encrypted spins, you paste it into the proper place, the clock adjusts to the rules of that competition, you play, you end your session, your results are saved in two forms on your computer, one with results only for each spin, the other with full telemetry for each bet. You then post to the forum the results you like. The results only form also includes a version of itself that is encrypted. So if anyone is accused of cheating the person administrating that challenge, the person that posts the spins, that person has kept an encryption key for that challenge. The so called offending person will be asked to post the encrypted results and the administrator can post the encryption key. Everyone will be able to use the software to see if cheating happened.

That will put an end to all scammers and claimers that can or can't back up what they suggest.

Once it's built there will be a time period of learning. The test software will be good for practice too. BTW, it will all be available for free.

This is a very good idea.However is this too much of a trouble you to build this?

It's too much if nobody is interested in using it.

I want to make a unique betting scheme to simplify building it. Things like this:

Red @ 50
Black @ 100

1-12 @ 25


1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12, @ 50

I will create repeat tabs that make placing bets real easy, custom settable for each user.  I already have it built in my charting program.

Here it is, already built. I just need to create the competition version from this already working form.

It must be timed like a real casino or you could copy the spins from a first try and use them on a second try.  The good news is that the person starting the competition will create the number of spins, the number of seconds between spins, and will create the two encryption keys. Only the person creating the competition will know the second key. The second key will be for settling disputes. Once you start you must continue. When you exit or end a session it will attempt to save your results. If all this happens within a set time period then nobody can cheat. I won't be able to cheat unless I was the one to post the spins. So I won't do that, somebody else will. Once anyone acts as that competition's administrator then only they know the keys. In fact, the software will create a random key that works automatically. All that is needed is the dispute key. That will be created when you create the list of spins to publish. It will create the dispute key but only the administrator will have it. And it will only work after the time has run out. Anyone can act as the administrator.

Wouldn't this be like cheating ? By knowing the numbers you can reverse engineer a system to win BIG TIME.
