Thank you Victor!

It is a much wiser alternative to the "good old" Martingale. I have to admit that I find the example in table 2 not too good. The Martingale would have won 10 units (the biggest bet would have been 16 units); I will try to compare the 2 progressions based on the example from table 2 their example:

                              Martingale        Deance

Gain                            +10                +4
Highest bet                   16 units           5 units
Total units staked          70 units          56 units       
Yield                            14.28%           7.14%

I think that to prove the efficiency of this progression we need a more extreme example (where Martingale fails 100%). I will try to simulate such an example and I will be back to you as soon as I can!
