Hello guys, we are having another hardware upgrade; we go from our current "Pentium 4" to Core2Duo (dual core) machine

Advantages? You bet! Sweet goodies like being strong enough in resources to start connecting our forum's parser directly to server-executed software like Open Office Suite to include true Excel (.XLS) and Word (.DOC) display documents right into posts -and any other format Open Office Suite can read and convert to HTML to be displayed directly on the browser :) Among other sweet features to stand as #1 roulette forum.

Plus we are cutting page generation time even more than last upgrade!

Our new server is already ordered and I want to start developing for it to connect our web to an even larger array of features.

Bigger & better; this 2009 brings us very good things.

I'm very confident of your continued support guys

You are just amazing!! So much effort! Just to let you know, it is really appreciated! By far, this forum is one of the best there is.

Keep it up...

OZ I have so many useful ideas for the forum I just needed the resources to code them. And we are getting them

This certainly is a step forward, by connecting our forum's parser with real off-forum software running at the server and then converting output to embeddable HTML we open the door to have amazing web-based features, actually way off the reach from any standard forum software (as they are not made by it). Beyond simple document processing, I can see this type of off-forum connections in things like using strong off-forum encryption for challenges, or hosting a gaming server and broadcast realtime results as regular HTML output. Let's see where this takes us... As we approach mid 2009 we are successfully laying the grounds, once we have the robust hardware architecture fine-tuned, the second half of 2009 is for coding only. And hooray!

New server is in place today at datacenter. I set it up completely and we move. I'm very excited mate. Main goal is to provide the best features to the roulette community and little by little we are making it :) I'm willing to devote the coding time, as long as people supports the board, we go for it!
