GG: the same people have been having the same conversations there day after day and year after year.

Yeah I've checked it now and then but it's always the same same arguments and thousands of posts later nothing is accomplished.

This is just your opinion. I think it goes very slowly due to the nature of the problem to solve but i learn more there than on this forum and vip combined. It's a matter of catching the few gold buggets on the ground when they get there.

We should bear in mind that being unclear on an issue and asking a question about it is a far cry from a put down.  People who post systems sometimes have mistakes in their math and possibly their thinking.  Pointing out their mistakes, even if they post on the completed systems thread, is not a put down.  While the system may be completed to them, there could still be errors.

We should all be open to constructive criticism.

Absolutely Sam. I see no harm in correcting a fellow poster who made a mistake with the math, as long as it is done in a polite way.

I've read some interesting posts on GG but ultimately the post goes to pot because it turns into some kind of a strange testosterone pissing match. Once that happens all discussion about the system being proposed stops and the name calling starts. Actually makes for a frustrating read.

Exactly!

Thats the whole point of a forum. If I had the ultimate answer to the holy grail I wouldn't be hear writing this, I would be in a casino using it.

GG has turned into a psychadelic board for subconsious minds and people who guesses 50/50 games with a 90% accuracy, but creeps into a hole in the ground when it comes to standing up for their claims. There are not many there who`s feet still on the ground.
When it was a gamblers board, there were the occasional bashing between proud minds, who wouldn`t take any crap, now its just  plain silly. And i see it starts to sneak in here too. Carefull VLS........

We have a working moderating crew, but because I initially told Spike they wouldn't be censored, several harsh posts have been left in the open, but truth is it isn't fair for people to come here to read GG-like style threads.

We'll clean up this mess. The mods and myself will work for posts which aren't in line with this forum's main spirit to be removed.
