I am new to the game of baccarat. I have spent the last month trying to learn as much about the game as I can. Last night I was in Atlantic City and the lowest table that I could find was for $20.00. That is too expensive for me but I stayed for awhile with only 200.00 which is stupid, and I made some money then I left. So since I am only 21 and I do not have a full time job I plan to save up around 1000 from my summer job which should only take a month then return to the baccarat tables. Baccarat felt much different than roulette (which I have given up on), craps, and even poker. I felt more relaxed playing it. The people playing baccarat were more respectful then many of the people who I have come across at the roulette, craps, and poker tables. I felt more at home playing the game. I think that I am going to put all of my focus on baccarat since I seem to be naturally drawn into it.

I found a system on a dark sider craps forum. I have been testing this system and I have modified it to fit my bankroll although I am not sure that I fully understand it. I am unable to join the forum so I cannot contact the person who explained it. If anybody has any thoughts on what he is talking about then please comment. Since I do not have much experience with baccarat it would be nice to get feedback from the experienced players or even people who know a lot more about the game than me.

The person from the forum uses 3+capping leading into a neural progression. I am personally not a fan of progressions because I never have enough money, but I always find a way to alter the progression to deal with the financial burden that some of the higher levels of a progression may cause. From what I can gather, this is the system can be used in craps, roulette, and any other even chance game.

You can find most of the info about it in the first 4 pages of the forum but here is some info that I have put together.

the object of 3+ Capping is to maintain your betting bankroll at all costs...... it will mean quitting a 3+CAPPING betting string with a loss, for that string, and reverting to base-unit level one... to avoid chasing your loses into Gambler's Ruin...... A 3+ Capping betting situation :

LOSE... 15.00
LOSE... 25.00
LOSE....40.00
WIN .... 65.00
NEXT SYSTEM BET IS DOWN ONE STEP TO 40.00 ..... WIN IT AND GO BACK TO BASE-UNIT ONE for the next 3+ Capping set-up.

LOSE IT, BET UP TO THE 7TH STEP ON THE NEURAL PROGRESSION TABLE..... LOSE THE 7TH LEVEL...CONSIDER THE GAME A TOTAL LOSS.

However, ... when betting up the string, IF A WIN brings THE TOTAL BETTING , FOR THE STRING, INTO A SMALL WIN... THE STRING BETTING IS OVER.... if not, continue betting up the Neg. Progression chart.

WITH THE 7TH LEVEL, WALK-AWAY LOSS ......MOVE UP TO A RECOVERY GAME AT THE +25.00 BASE-UNIT LEVEL.

STAY UP ON THE 25.00 BASE-UNIT LEVEL UNTIL THE PREVIOUS LOSSES ARE RECOVERED.... THEN .... BACK TO BASE-UNIT LEVEL ONE ... 15.00.

LOSE THE 7TH LEVEL 25.00 GAME...MOVE UP TO THE 50.00 LEVEL (the Art. Intell. Computer states this will happen once in 750 times A,B and C level games are played , back to back ! )

I believe that this is each shoe, and here is the link to this page..nolinks://wrongwaycraps.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=strategy&action=display&thread=486

Here is the system: This copied and pasted from the forum:
The below is the actual shoe .....( + is player ) and ( - is Bank ) winning decisions :

+
-
-
-
-
-
- ..... did not bet... waiting for this string of 6 ( - ) 's to be capped

+ ...capped! betting ( + ) for 50.00 on next desision.....

+ ... + 50.00 win.... stop betting until 3+ capping sets up again.
...........................................................................................

down into the shoe :

-
-
- ... three in a row, waiting for capping ....
+ ...capped.... betting ( + ) for 50.00 on next decision

- .... 50.00 loss... betting second step on Neural , neg. progression, + 80.00 on ( + ) , on next outcome...

+ .... 80.00 win ! ... resulting in a +30.00 net win, for this series, quit betting until 3+ capping sets up again.....
.........................................................................................

Down in shoe :

+
+
+
+
- ...... 4 + 's wins in-a-row, capped by a ( - ) win ... betting ( - ) for 50.00 on next decision ........

- A 50.00 win ! .. waiting for 3+ capping to set up again...
...
42nd decision :
-
-
-
+ capped ! .... bettting ( + ) for 50.00 on next outcome .
+ .... a 50.00 win ! .... on and on , to the the end of the shoe..... a + 310.00 net win !

This 3+ Capping works on Craps, Roulette and Bacc. The 3+ Capping steps over MASSIVE go-against the player , strings of decisions.

Thus, it is suited for the Neg. Progression type systems, like Silverthorne's NEURAL SYSTEM. Three + Capping dovetails into the NEURAL SYSTEM and compliments it.

This is another way that he plays the system: nolinks://wrongwaycraps.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=strategy&action=display&thread=487

most of the info about 3+capping seems to be in the first 4 pages. It is a craps forum so there is not much discussion about baccarat, so you have to filter thought a lot of the craps stuff.

Thanks

John1234

if i called the progression a neutral progression then I was wrong. I meant to type neural progression.

John1234

I have been doing a lot of reading on the forum where the person posted and I am starting to understand what he is doing much better. I just need to read up on the neural system and I am having trouble finding info on it.
here is an example of how it is played. The shoe is the first shoe that in Malty's post...Thanks Malty for all of the examples.
I finished the shoe + 5 unites and I bet 20 dollar units. This came out to be a 100 dollar profit.

John1234,

Any system which needs also pre-bets/recovery-stages, bull-garbage big-word dropping, etc, is garbage.   If it's any good, why the need for a recovery (then)?  Why not get right into its main betting, and stay there.  What's "neural" to do with a casino game, really?

Anyway, if i'm not mistaken, i believe that nolinksw guy is a BTC paid member.  He was over there talking a lot about all the comps, etc, he was winning.   Well, the dealers laugh at those guys becasue THEY know WHO pays for those.   And, in my OPINION anyone with anything to do with Ellis CAN'T know his behind from a hole in the ground.

You make me cringe when already you've decided to be a professional player only because you were "naturally drawn" to the game.  Perhaps that's the "neural" link here, some sort of rationale to keep yourself moving from one losing game to another.   Who knows, maybe you'll become one of those professional blackjack (human) card-counters "living" off the bonus coupons, etc.

Save your money for college, or something else more definite.  Come back when you can play for "fun", or something more definite; not your food on the toss of a coin.

P. S.  Look at all the "sure-fire" systems and winners from years back.   Most of those people don't even post anymore.   Ultimately, if any of these/those systems worked the casinos wouldn't be "fleecing" every single customer.  Right?

John1234

Thanks for the advice, but I did not mean that I want to be a professional gambler. I have no intention on doing that, that is why I am in college. When I said put all of my focus on baccarat I meant away from all of the other games in the casino...I guess that statement could be misleading.

This nolinksww guy seemed to be winning a lot of money with his system or w/e you want to call it. I am sure that there are risks involved with everything...it is nice to have an opinion  such as yours coming from the opposite end of the spectrum. It is a nice wake up call when I hear a person saying that they are having such great success.... However, I feel as though all casino games, even poker have many risks. One valuable lesson that I learned since turning 21 is walking away when I am not too deep in the hole and walking away without trying to get too greedy. I have learned this the hard way 2 or 3 times and thinking back on it I can't believe that I was stupid enough to risk all of my profit. His system is holding up pretty well in testing so far and I plan to test it many more times and even try to fit it to my own playing style. I do not know how i feel about the progression, I agree with you about how anything with a recovery is not good. But yet again, i think that the most important thing is that I walk away when I get ahead, even if it is only 200 dollars...

Thank you very much

John1234

this nolinksnolinks guy posts under the name of Jim in this forum. He explains his system/method better in the first and second page of the forum.

I am not sure if this nolinksww (jim) guy has much to do with Ellis. It seems as though they both do not get along and disagree on this forum. However, I could be mistaken.

I still agree with you about the progression but he has an interesting argument to it in the link that I posted above.

Another note: nolinksww claims that he has won a lot of money with his method and it is nice to see that he is not trying to sell it like Ellis...I do not know much about Ellis I tried reading some of his stuff but it seems like he is more interested in taking money from people rather then the casino. From what I gather nolinksww does not share the same view of Ellis, he does no endorse Ellis, and he does not seem to like Ellis...but who knows, I could be wrong.

John1234,

Well, "you win one and you lose one", right?

You're a very-well mannered and respectful young person. You will go far whichever way you ultimately choose.

I think that other guy on the other forum (i sometimes jump into to put in my 2-cents) has been playing too long and hard. It's made him quite a resentful person of life in general; lashing out at any one who posts.

Anyhow, i like a good go at the casino once in a while myself. Just haven't figured out a long-term winner yet.  And good luck to you.

John1234

GARNabby,

Thank you very much. And good luck to you as well. I hope that you find that long term winner

John1234

I think that the system is safer to play if you use the 6 point divisor plan rather than the neural plan. I never understood the 6 point divisor but it just clicked in my head at 3am. Anyway, I tested it on a shoe that gave the 3+capping leading into neural trouble and it played out much better. It finished plus 86 dollars and it did not have a bad draw down at all. The neural way had over a 200 dollar drawdown and finished around +50 dollars. The largest drawdown for the 6 point divisor plan was only -32 dollars with 20 dollar bets.

So now I think that the system is more interesting if it is a 3+capping system leading into a 6 point divisor plan rather then a neural progression. It appears to be much safer. I plan to test this method a lot.

any thoughts?

Can you explain the bet selection again

John1234,

I love playin Baccarat, but like you the high table min. and the crowds on the tables keeps me from play to often. FYI All the tables on the board walk are 25 there is 20 at the borgata and during the day the marina has a 15 table. These are all during the week prices as I am sure they are all higher on the weekend.

John1234 ,

This  post of mine  is not for the purpose of  advising you of any  method  how  to play baccarat. Gather information  through books   and qualified  baccarat  message boards.

What I have noticed is that you learned rather  quickly how  to handle  a  bankroll  and avoid   getting wiped out.
Let me  give you you an idea  of the size of bankroll required.

Your $ 1, 000.00 is  very much in  the ball park so get the extra $200. Don`t venture UNDERCAPITALIZED into a  casino.

Your bankroll is divided into 3  sessions. At a  $ 20 minimum table  you would require a  bankroll  of  600 per session but  $ 400  is  acceptable. Therefore you would require   $ 1, 200.00

Therefore  for the 3  sessions  you bring $ 1, 200.--. You set yourself a LOSS LIMIT of 25 - 30 % per session. You also get up if you lose  3  times in a row.

Your objective is  to win  2  out of 3  sessions. If the first 2 sessions are a winner don`t  go into a  3 rd session. Never give it back.

GUARANTEE yourself  a  WIN GOAL  of 20 %  but NOT a  Win limit  Once you reach this 20 %  set it aside to the  big pile and play with the EXCESS  only.

Nathan Detroit
HAPPY WINNINGS!!!!!

P.S. Before winning  one thousand Dollars   first learn NOT to lose  one thousand Dollars.
