After these crappy days of people creating accounts just for disrupting the forum, and exasperating the moderating crew and the administrative staff, we move on from replying to those characters.

Those who do not like this forum, the solution is simple: IGNORE US, don't visit.

Those who enjoy this forum, be certain we will keep the hard work to make this the best roulette information exchange environment.

In the name of the administrative and moderating staff, a big apology and I can tell you we are back on schedule.

...and also exasperating those of us trying to follow a thread and continually getting sidetracked by spiteful posts!

Well done!  Excellent decision.

Just ignoring them is the answer. They'll soon stop when they fail to get a response.

A Suggestion

Consider a robust registration procedure for applicants to join this forum.

One that can be checked for accurate answers. Things like sending copies of electricity accounts, phone bills and the like to prove identity and address, just for starters.

In that way the dropkicks, scammers and time-wasters can be given the flick before they further poison the well.

Yes, the membership growth will be slower, but you'll be better assured of getting real nuggests instead of fools gold...

Hey Esoito  ;)

That is a great idea in theory my friend  :good:

But, I feel that taking it to that level is just too steep.....

I doubt even those gold nuggets that we desire, will be prepared to send such sensitive information..... :(

The time, hassle, and threat of some form of Identity Fraud would be just too great  :rtfm:

Great to see another member having this forums best interests at heart  :give_heart:

Thx for that  8)

Hi xman

Thanks for your comments and thoughts.

My suggestion is to make the application to join the forum more robust. I don't resile from that.

Sure, the devil is in the details, as you so rightly point out.

Yes, I'm aware sending personal information is often risky because of identity theft.

But there has to be some way of sorting out the genuine from the non-genuine applicants to join.

Maybe some sort of on-probation scheme?

As you correctly note, I do have the forum's best interests at heart, which is why I'm prepared to indulge in a bit of brain-storming and creative thinking.

Agreed Esoito  :good:

Hopefully there is some middle ground somewhere...... 8)

I agree with you. This seems a good suggestion to keep liars and scammers away from the forum

When I first joined this forum all I needed to do was put my details in and I not even sure I was verified via email I could then just post

Those days are sadly gone I have joined sportsbetting forums and such and it sometimes took days to get verified  so is no biggie there

In a perfect world this place would self moderate as it has done for years and people would respect each other but I am afraid it isnt a perfect world and we have  take the trust of Victor and his moderaters I think this is only the way this place could run from now on It was exasperating to me to see all those horrible posts and I am an outsider

I thank you Victor and others for being so approachable and gentlemanly in how you have managed these episodes nad drama over last few weeks

Hopefully the drama queens will stay away from now on

Regards Rodney
