So, what are you goals?

And by goals I mean in both this forum and the roulette.

What are you main goals and the reasons you started playing roulette and join this forum?

My first goal is to achieve financial independece.  I'm already 24, and still studying a career that I hate and have a lot of problems with.  So I'm seriously thinking about just to drop out and find a way to make money and stop depending on my parents.  Maybe roulette is not the safest way but I'm pretty much excited seeing how others are making a living out of it that I still want to try it.

My second goal is to travel to Singapore and take a course that I'm sure will change my life for good ;) hence why I'm trying to get as much money as fast as possible to pay for it and saw such opportunity from roulette.  That course is said to be so good that you can rest asured that it would be the best seminar you'll ever see nolinks://nolinks.akltg.com.sg/poe.php.

And the reason I (thankfully) joined this forum was to learn how to properly play the roulette, tests methods to play and find a consistent way to make a decent ammount of money, as well as help newbies so that they don't make the same mistakes I did when I first started playing.

How about you?

Don't you even think about it!

Complete your career study first, there'll be plenty of time for roulette later.

By all means study roulette too, and play a bit, but don't jump into a roulette career until you've had at least one other career first.

You're only 24, you have at least 40 years of productivity in you. Roulette can wait.

Cheers, :drinks:

Don't worry I'm not planing to make roulette my only way to make a living.  The main reason is just to get the money to that seminar and eventually leave the roulette since I want a lot more than that, I want to surpass myself and be a great entrepreneur.

Roulette is nothing but a mean, not my goal per se.

Did you see 21 Blackjack? it's kinda like the boy who just wants to make a lot of money to pay for his high school rather than making Blackjack his only way of living.

Controlled gambling for recreation is one thing.

However, you're courting disaster and potential financial ruin if you seriously consider roulette as a way of financing your future studies.

I was pleased to see "...I'm not planing (sic) to make roulette my only way to make a living..."

At your financial stage of life could I ask you to think twice before making it even a part-living?

Far too risky. Inevitable drawdowns could easily deplete your limited capital.

But then, why should you take any notice of my opinion?

Hi.

For me roulette is a life time hobby and I enjoy it.
I spend more on getting material about the subject then I spend I the casino.

I got my self a real roulette wheel.
I am also getting a carpet, the layout and will build my own roulette table.

I learn and practice every day and make videos and play them in slow-motion to see how precise my skills are.

I try to find old used books because it is more cheap.

I build relations with other users to learn from there experiences.
Some times it is better then spend money on books or to buy a complete method.

I'm not unaware of that.  In fact I've had huge drawdowns, I've lost +$100 from these past 2 weeks trying methods that ended up blowing my BR, (but since I'm on vacations and I'll work, I can get back that money in a week of work) but lately I've managed to make Lw work for me and from the night before to this morning I've worked my way from 16 units to 100 units in like 3 hours of play (+25 units profit per hour) :D

So, I guess I'm on the right direction ;) thx for your concern.

User Chez88 was clearly disruptive = deleted.

We move on with fair users only.

His IP came from too close from those used by past disruptive users too (sorry Chez, those "dime a dozen" online anonymity servers are transparent, if you want to disrupt seriously you will have to pay for a premium anonymity service; of course, giving you take forum disruption seriously enough for that).

I kept an eye on this guy from day 1, everybody who comes around with bad intentions show their true color, more sooner than later = out.

We don't mind people entertaining themselves by trying to disrupt a forum, but they must do it at ANY OTHER FORUM, just not here.
Here we cater to productive users only, anyway, those who come with bad intentions know what they are doing, hence they shouldn't be surprised of their bad-meaning accounts removed.

Fellow users interested in keeping alive the proper roulette talk, Please feel free to continue this interesting debate about goals in roulette, with one element of disruption already out :)

Have to's before want to's.  Get that education,  yes, there is money in roulette.  Problem is it is not guaranteed.  Entrepreneurship is a good thing over a dead-end job, but there are other games of chance where a newcomer can profit quickly.

Learning roulette is going to take a while, lots of patience, and most important (I learned this the hard way) self-disclipline, watching the roulette wheel can be hypnotic, and a bettor must be fully aware of his actions and make smart money management decisions.

Just_Gabe

Yeah, learned that the hard way too.  Progressions are big NO from my part after seeing how that ate my BR 3 times, and I'm learning to embrace a loss and just keep going forward instead of going backward chasing the losses, and finally to never let the greed overcome.  If I were to bet higher units I would make sure that I have plenty to lose with no problem.

Sometimes you have to fall many times before learning to walk properly...whatever :P

Quotebut there are other games of chance where a newcomer can profit quickly.
Like which games???

Proofreaders2000

First recommendation, Poker.  See Invocon (sp?) here at VLS.  Second, Baccarat (lower casino edge than Roulette) See 28Black (although he is a Roulette expert as well.)
If you are serious about mastering roulette, see Clothdog.  He is a genius.

Just_Gabe

I read somewhere that clothdog's method has a cutting-edge strategy...which method is it?

And btw, I'll take a look at those games you mentioned hehe.  Thx for the tips mate!

Mr J

Goals? Hmmm One goal is to show (but not show, lol) the negative people that roulette can be a source of income. I did not say 100% of your income. People here and in my personal life. Not sure about you but I get laughed at for playing/studying this game. Another goal is the obvious one. Money to pay bills. I owe THOUSANDS in hospital bills, I need to catch up on. Making money while watching a ball go around in a circle as I sit on a chair, cant beat that.  :good: Goals here? Try and give advice to rookie players, help out as needed. Ken

esoito

Good for you, Mr J.

But unless you (or some other profitable player) is prepared to give this young bloke a profitable system, then I won't resile from the advice I gave him.
