Competition idea.

Hi Victor. If this is posted in the wrong section I appologize and please feel free to place it where you think fit.

My idea is this. An open competition should be held and say the top 3 players that win this competition will win this.

Every member participating in the competition must pay $100 entry fee into an account Victors opens. Say 100 members take part (We wish!) then that is $10 000.00. Now the top three do not win this money. They get to gamble with it on Dublinbet, Jebet whichever Victor decides on. First position in the comp. gets $5 000.00 to play with. Second gets $3 000.00 to play with and 3rd get's $2 000.00 to play with. That is of course if we accumalate $ 10 000.00.

Victor will open say three accounts (Dublinbet, Jebet?), giving an account to each winner 1,2 and 3. They will now play for all of the members involved in putting in their $100 each.

So we can now decide OK, the three play for 2 months, must play at least 3 times a week. (Something in that order) After the 2 or 3 months period. The totals of the money made are added together. Profits are now devided back to the "investors" with the 3 players according to position, getting an extra fee.

Let's say we turn $10 000 into $30 000. Now every member gets sy $250.00 back The three top players get a winners fee each plus their $250.00 and let's say a fee for VLS site for operating costs.

If there are losses...well that is gambling. Then the money is just devided back to all investors. (Or something in that order.)

What do you guys think? I would take part. But then again it's my suggestion!

I think this is a cool idea.  I'd be game, although you'd have to set up rules, guidelines...blah,blah,blah.  I don't know if I'd be able to play online 2/3 times a week but if not, I'd be willing to teach someone else my method (should I come in the top 3).

Thanx guys I'm glad you like the idea. All of us can benefit. The top three should give us the best chance of winning. They would have sufficient br and Victors' site will also have funding.

I think this could work. Problem here would be organizing a competition hosting for 100 + players! Might have to have seperate games with knockouts, playing quarters, semis, finals etc. I think if we are going to do this it will take quite a bit of planning and would need quite a bit of organization. I do feel that there is more than enough members here trustworthy enough (like you gents!) who can organize this event.

Well let's see what the others think. Also when it comes to the actual collecting of the money we might see interest fade. I hope not!
It'll be fun shouting and cheering for our three champs to bring in the bread especially if Vic has a specific time on which he would announce reults weekly!

Should be fun. I'll play my splits and reverse numbers! See what happens. CD I'm sure will play his root system (man that is a good system!), Matty you would play yours (remember my challenge! You did excellent as did Kimo!) I think this would be neat! Of course Ray will be there with his magic,Victor and  Ronjo with their pro playing ways, Lanky with his way of LW's, Kimo with his delicious pie. mmmmmmm! Sounds better by the moment.

how to define the 3 top players ?

Hi Stan,  

That's simple my friend. The three positions in the competition that accumulated the highest profits. 1st position highest profit,
2nd position = second highest profit and third position third highest.

@ others; we can also decide whether there should be only 2 winners 1st and second, 3 winners as above or 4 winners?

You'd also have to define the betting parameters (such as flat betting only or progressions allowed) how many spins per round... all that fun stuff!  I'm more than willing to help (just keep in mind that I'm usually away for the weekends.

My congratulation dear jakko for this new idea . i am the first that will take part of this competation and i hope that all the players here take part of it to have 100 players .
I suggest my friend victor to open a section and name it "COMPETATION" and who wants to take part he is welcome . about the winnings,i am sure that we will have a good winnings and i suggest to divide them in 2 parts, one part for players and another as a funds to help who needs it and to make this forum one of the best of the net.
The players, really there are very good and profisional players here and we can put rules and conditions for this competations as choosing the 3 players who will play .

The idea is good and nice however you must be carefull when it comes to these sort of things because of the laws. Technical speaking you perhaps would need an permission to do this or not.

or we could just put all the money into a account at dumblin,let me do all the playing and victor can split all the profits at the end of each weak.

all investors will recieve a paycheck every week, all invester have to do is sit back and watch there money grow, live on dublin.

  Hahahahahahahahaha!!!!!! Ray you crack me up! Lol not so far fetched though! I'm sure you will be a contender. Guys like Ronjo, Kimo, Matty, Clothdog and quite a few others (Alfa Street, Addonai etc.etc.etc.etc.) will difenitely be in the mix as well!

Hi my friend, yes I' also ready! Hey Vic, what do you think? You busy working on something? Logistically, yes, it could be difficult. I'm sure though we can get it going!

Vic, why not start a competition registration post. No fees yet but all definate participants must sign uop there. That way we'll know what the collections will eventually look like.

I think that members that have the finances (not me!) who wants to can buy in for more than one position. Say $300, 3 places. Ray may not cause just now he endes up 1st, 2nd and 3rd! lol
