Hi Guys, I am playing a very simple system which appears to be extremely effective, but not completed. I usually play till I am up 100 units and then I quit. Perhaps some of you who are better than me with this kind of thing can help me.

I start by taking a dry spin. The number that comes up determine where I bet. If 12 comes up, I play all numbers with either a 1 or a 2 in it.
In other words I will bet on 1, 2, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 31, 32.
I will then spin. If I win, I take the number that came up and repeat the process from the beginning with the new numbers, if I lose, I add the new numbers to my current bet, i.e. if 7 comes up, I lose, but then I will add 7 (17 and 27 are already in the queue) and spin again. If 3 comes up, I will also add 3, 30, 33, 34, 35, 36 till I win.

Babs  congrats and thanks for posting your system . Iwould be to stupid tobe able to offer any tweks . When you come on again please tell me the size of bank you are playing of ?2 how long on average does it take to win 100 chips Thanks for reading long may you continue to lift thoose 100s Good Luck Colin

Colin, this system can definitely be improved. It is far removed from a complete system. That is why I posted it here. It is only a concept system at this moment.  I haven't played a lot of real spins with this. About 20 games with real money on RNG, the rest (not sure how much) have been played with playmoney, also on RNG. Overall I have made 982 real units in about 20 games.  The problem is that I cannot prove, at this moment, that this system will be viable in long run. So please, if anyone test this system, be cautious. DO NOT USE REAL MONEY UNTIL YOU ARE SURE YOU TRUST THIS.. I have played with real money, which I could afford to lose, simply to test this system in various conditions. 20 games is not enough to determine it's worth. It is very simple and easy, though. I would like any input however since I feel it does have merits.  O yeah, I play this with 300 units. I only flatbet.

this reminds me of a few systems I tried a few years ago. The positive thing about it is the flat bets.
Here in my opinion is where it could possibly come unstuck. Many times when you create a system where you are just betting a few numbers at the start, the results can look favourable when you hit early and often. It makes you excited thinking this is brilliant. Over a lot of testing, the downside will be when you are starting to bet 20+ numbers and getting no hits and having to add more numbers and still getting no hits. This results in some heavy losses.
So you could possibly start looking at when is the best time to end a game and restart if you reach a certain negative position. There will be a optimal time when to stop and restart. What this achieves is to take the early wins and not lose them later with a heavy loss. In a lot of my personal testing, I found things came around in cycles. ie. there would be some days where you got a lot of games ending early and making good profits and then other days you would see a few games where you would have suffered heavy losses and could not make up for the day. I suppose that is the nature of the game. That is my experience with something along the same lines that you are presenting here.

Yes, your opinion is spot on. Luckily it does not happen that often, but it does.

O yeah, that is so true. If Roulette was easy to beat there would not be so many people here trying out different systems  ;D  I have learned a lot during my time on this forum. One thing is that I have not yet found a long-term viable system. I have made some bucks, but usually I lose some of it again. I am lucky however, all in all I am up with Roulette, but that can change quickly. I am a very cautious player...

I do not really think that this system is special, but I am hoping that some guys will add to this idea... perhaps they can help define a few rules that will make this more robust (like your suggestion to stop playing at a certain point). Maybe some money management technique can work well with this, but I am not sure which one would complement this type of bet selection.

Can you give me one good reason why this could win on the long term?  Again,  if, and I say if there is  a winning way,  it has to be a lot more complicated than that.  Every Tom Joe and Harry would be filthy rich if it was otherwise.

Nope, I can't  ;) That is why I am posting it in Brainstorming  and not Full Systems. I have made a nice bundle playing this system occasionally with real money, although most of my tests is done with playmoney. I think it has potential, but I am stuck at fine tuning it further. Perhaps someone has some time and could play with it and help me fine tune this.

I really do not believe that there is a holy grail (a constant, long term winning system). But some systems do make some money. Still it should not necessarily be complicated to be effective.

If this method lose in the long run. Why not the play that the numbers will not hit? Then you exclude the numbers to hit.
I like to say that your way is good. There seems to be a trend, LL W, after two loses its going to hit.

I played the last number and used only the last figure - (24) the 4 and the neighbours on the table.

Babsi am shure you know of DUBLIN BET where you can play on real wheels and real dealers but can play along with every1 else but still use fun money from a bank of 500 euros .Cheers Colin  ps you will find more players in the evenings @ uk time

This strategy have some merits,but i play a slightly similar one,if within 10 spins i see e.g 14,24,34 i play all numbers with 4,that is 4,14,24,34 for 5 spins
