Warning to members

TO ALL MEMBERS:

The forum is becoming less about roulette, and more about bickering. It's time to do some housecleaning. There are only a few members causing this, and it destroys the forum. This unfortunately includes some of the most frequent posters. I would rather have 10 constructive posters that barely post but keep the forum friendly than 1 frequent poster that contributes to degrading the forum.

There is a place for relatively unmoderated attacks and personal stuff - it's called Gambler's Glen. If that's what you want, go there. I'm not meaning GG is a bad place, just that it is not strong on the moderation thing.

So I'm going to start banning members who I feel are creating trouble - it means fewer conversations, but higher quality ones. For longer term members, it will likely be temporary bans - if behavior continues, bans will be permanent. It does not mean they do not contribute, it means they are perpetuating stuff that degrades the forum and should know better. I will not distinguish between who started something, or who is just responding to attacks. If you are attacked, report the post or member. If you respond and I see a reciprocated personal attack, that may be all I see.

Again, if you are attacked personally - REPORT IT. A personal attack is not calm and fact-based discussion that simply does not agree with you. If you respond to the member with the same nonsense, dont expect me to be the judge about who is right or wrong. If you are getting personal, you are wrong in enough of a way to warrant banning.

If you are constantly pushing someone, that will be viewed as troublemaking and you will likely be banned. You should be adult enough to know when you are stirring sh*t.

From today this will be enforced.

There always be some bickering or personal attacks. Its a human nature.
So unless its very nasty  let it be.
And if stupid is considered a bad word and is changed to silly then...
i dont know.
Never big fan of a political correctness.
Lets a stupidity destroy itself.
